The point is that prior to or after establishing states’ rights, small communities have to understand what credit is and how it can be created and maintained within local trusted groups.

So it’s a great and essential primer, in fact the 2001 book is a lot less complicated, with less to dispute, it sticks to the basics and illustrates successful creation of legal tender alternatives all over the world, not that you’d hear about it much in the msm.

New book is out in 2009, but the 2001 book is really mandatory for every high school student and older.

btw, earlier poster endorsed a J. JFK was going to end the Fed and smash the CIA into a thousand pieces. He found that Eisenhower’s warning of the military industrial complex running this country was indeed true, and they were pushing for war with the Soviet Union. The people and organizations who had his public execution carried out became even more powerful in the years that followed his, his brother’s, MLK’s and countless other’s assassinations. They successfully came to have ultimate control over the US media. Hence today, it’s a rally around the flag and demonize and marginalize the voices of dissent. The american people are nothing short of programmed. Sheeple is a good word for them. The truth is constantly covered and nicely painted over. My belief is that 911 was an inside job. It all fits into the larger picture. I was 8 years old when JFK was killed. Now at 54 years old, the Vietnam experience, all of the 60’s, events that have occurred over the globe , including the clandestine overthrows of democratically elected governments in South America and elsewhere make the whole picture much clearer. My advice: seek the truth (you won’t find it in mainstream media), get off the grid, express your thoughts as freely as you can to try to rescue others who are caught up in the programmed everyday propaganda in this country, and try to live a life that teaches young folks to always question authority, and emancipate yourselves from mental slavery( as Bob Marley sang of) Our whole sick society has been so well programmed. The college football season is upon us and millions devote their energies and minds to this meaningless yearly activity, which is only one of the many delusions nestled within our society, that teaches lies as history and celebrates crap like Christmas to give the economy a boost. It is indeed a sad state of affairs. Those that wield the power in the world fabricate history to their convenience and profit , while the people of this country are lulled into stupidity and are focused on survival from week to week. Those of us who see the beast for who it is are overcome with a helpless feeling. Public protest has been swept away as a means of change as so many are divided in this nation. That’s what they want. Those protests of the 60’s could never occur today. All one can do is to try to educate those who can’t or refuse to see truth. Again, in Marley’s words, EMANCIPATE YOURSELVES FROM MENTAL SLAVERY, NONE BUT OURSELVES CAN FREE OUR MINDS.
