Dear Friend of Liberty,
Legislative sources on the Hill have informed me that a vote on “Cap-and-Trade” (Cap-and-Tax) is likely to come around 5 pm eastern today.
Once again, most legislators have no idea what is in the 1,201 page bill about to be put up for final vote.
Passing Cap-and-Trade is a very high priority for the Obama administration, but a procedural vote earlier this morning only produced a 217-205 favorable result. This very tight margin proves your calls and emails are having an impact.
Now is the time to turn up the pressure. Call your representative, Harry Teague, at (202) 225-2365 immediately and urge him to vote against this latest tax scheme. (American families could end up paying several thousand dollars a year in higher energy bills as a result of HR 2454.)
Make sure Representative Harry Teague at (202) 225-2365 hears from you! For email and fax information, visit our HR 2454 action page here.
In Liberty,
John F. Tate
President

Congress has relinguished its power to the private fed..that makes Congress criminally negligent just like they have been for the last 96 years letting a private corporation [the fed] issue and control our currency..when is Congress going to grow the gonads to stop these crominals? NEVER that’s when..
they aren’t because they are all paid actors in the takeover of the United States of America today..and the entire world tomorrow..

DOESN’T THIS BILL HAVE TO ALSO PASS IN THE SENATE? As Fox newscasters said, it will never pass in the Senate. I guess we will wait and see?

The US senate is even more left wing than the house – it will sail through

Hi,
The Cap and Trade Bill H.R.2998 contains sections of Federal enforced
zero-carbon energy sources and systems.
http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h2998/text
“SEC. 216A. TRANSMISSION PLANNING.
(a) Federal Policy-CommentsClose CommentsPermalink
(1) OBJECTIVES- It is the policy of the United
States that regional electric grid planning should facilitate
the deployment of renewable and other zero-carbon energy sources
for generating electricity to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
while ensuring reliability, reducing congestion, ensuring
cyber-security, and providing for cost-effective electricity
services throughout the United States.”
As this Federal policy is based on the false presumption of ‘Global Warming’,
this version of the Bill should be rejected.
Best Regards,
Robert
