On Friday, September 25th the House Financial Services Committee has scheduled a full committee hearing on Ron Paul’s HR.1207 to audit the Federal Reserve. The hearing is slated to begin at 9am eastern time. For details and a link to the (eventual) live streaming video of the hearing check out the committee website.
As with many of these committee hearings the schedule is tentative and right now there are no witnesses listed.
By now we know what the opponents of the bill will argue, but it doesn’t change the fact that the bill has over 290 bipartisan cosponsors and 75% of the American people want a Fed audit.
The conditions are ripe for passing some form of Federal Reserve audit. Rahm Emanuel has been criticized for not wanting to allow our economic “crisis to go to waste”. In turn, Obama has largely been capitalizing on his honeymoon in popularity coupled with the economic crisis to push his agenda through Congress. The health care debate has stifled that strategy for now.
Without the economic crisis I doubt Ron Paul’s Fed audit bill would have more than 290 cosponsors. So, in a way, Ron Paul is not letting this crisis go to waste either. It is a perfect bill for the America we live in today.
It is Ron Paul’s job to convince others that his bill would not allow Congress to interfere with monetary policy. This is the lone argument against his bill and it’s quite a weak argument.
Friday’s hearings mark a major battle in the long term effort to “End the Fed“.
That’s an argument to prevent this bill from passing? “They don’t want it to interfere with monetary policy.”

I was a Ron Paul activist (at the street level) but my opinion of the man is now that at best he is a naive old guy, OR has been threatened into semi-submission, however at worst he is controlled opposition

I think it is important to note that our lives are short, and the only way to “patriotism” is first in the heart of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Patrtotism to a state–say Zionism–as a religion is the worship if Israel. This is defined as paganism.
Racial nationalism is a cultural misnomer. The people of the United States have a right to live within their respective cultures. The elite that want to rule over us have divided the masses by subjecting the masses to combine all cultures as one. They do this on purpose–see the protocols of the Illuminati, a Rothschilds brain child.
This was a social experiment and the results are obvious. Racial nationalism is a biproduct of it. This is natural position because of the effects of wanting to be with our own kind–if you will.

Let me jump in. I too have felt that Paul may be controlled opposition primarily for the reason that our friends wouldn’t allow him on TV otherwise. No word on 911 is another reason, for me, as well. Although when I hear him speak and I look in his eyes I think he is a stand up guy. He keeps on going. He is/appears political, diplomatic, and naturally refined. I am not ruling out that he could possibly be controlled opposition altogether, however. In concurrence with Fred Flintstones, I perceive THE keystone mechanism of control to be the culling of racial consciousness and identity from society. This is what is so unnerving, as it is, for one astonishingly hypocritical juxtaposed against Jewish supremacism. Jesus says you will love the one and hate the other: it’s right there in the Bible. I am not sure that racial nationalism is a product of Illuminati planning either, Reality Check; there is ample evidence that this has existed everywhere, vis, the “New World” where there were no Jews or Illuminati. They do manipulate and betray these energies and movement, however, to feed their unfathomable greed and twisted Mosaic visions. I think we just need to ask the simple empirical question – Is this crazy? Say yes, and then go from there. The answer to the first precept is a definite yes, our situation is highly improbable.
