COVID-19 is officially losing its special status in Alberta, signalling an end to the pandemic in the province. The Chinese Virus will be treated just like the flu and other respiratory diseases in Alberta, according to the latest provincial guidance.

On Wednesday, Premier Jason Kenney’s government took a bold step and announced that quarantines are no longer mandatory for anyone who tests positive for the virus beginning on July 29th.

The Alberta government is ending special treatment for COVID, and will officially begin treating it like the regular flu. "Isolation following a positive COVID-19 test result will no longer be required."

On August 16th, isolation of any kind is not a legal requirement – even for those with an active COVID infection.

“With strong vaccine uptake, Alberta will gradually bring COVID-19 measures in line with other respiratory viruses to ensure health system capacity for the fall,” claims an Alberta government press release.

“Quarantine for close contacts will shift from mandatory to recommended.”

The good news means that even unvaccinated Albertans will no longer be required to self-isolate after potentially being exposed to the virus. Additionally, contact tracing will soon be a thing of the past and relegated only to high-risk settings like elderlyl care facilities.

The Alberta left are on collective suicide watch after Kenney announced that COVID is officially just the flu.

“Isolation hotels and quarantine support will no longer be available,” reads the press release.

The latest guidance means that Alberta will undoubtedly be the freest province in all of Canada – and will lead the world in ending the pandemic restrictions.

Your risk by taking to the streets and toppling this gov't is less than that of letting them enact this insane policy. We need to take to the streets. A General Strike. And a call for an election.

Left wing radicals on Twitter have already begun losing their mind – going as far to call on their followers to “take to the streets” and topple the government.

Meanwhile, in Ontario, provincial health authorities there want to force unvaccinated kids to segregate from the rest of their classmates if they come into contact with someone who has the virus.

The government will be punishing kids based on their medical history and will require them to miss school for up to 20 days.

Fortunately, thanks to the efforts of brave Albertan freedom fighters who stood up to the unelected public health bureaucrats in our own province, Alberta will once again persevere and be an example of liberty to the rest of the world.
