CNN thought it had cleverly set a trap for Virginia’s new Lieutenant Governor-Elect Winsome Sears. Normally, an African-American politician would be treated with kid gloves by the “politically correct” network, but all of that goes out the window when one is a Republican.

Dana Bash had the gall to ask Sears is she were vaccinated for Covid, which is absolutely, positively none of her business. But Winsome Sears made her pay for her insensitive question, while demonstrating more class than her disgraceful host.

Bash raised the question of “whether you are vaccinated,” and then asked the faux-journalistic question: “Do you want to say now?”

“As I said, America, if it’s nothing else, it’s about liberty,” she answered. “It’s about being able to live your life free from the government telling you what to do.

“And so, we understand this thing about slippery slopes,” Sears continued. “The minute I start telling you about my vaccine status, we’re going to be down the bottom of the mountain trying to figure out how we got there, because now you want to know what’s in my DNA, you’re going to want to know this, that, and the other.”

“In New York, you see, we have people – waiters! waiters! – asking people their vaccination status,” she added. “And by the way, do you know what else they require? A photo ID to determine if this vaccine card you’re presenting is really you.”

Talk about getting completely owned on air. The Democratic Party, along with the help of mainstream media outlets like CNN, have been pretending for years that asking a voter for photo ID is tantamount to Jim Crow laws and racist discrimination. But at the drop of a hat, the Democrats will drop all of that to implement draconian vaccine passport laws that require a photo ID, such as in New York and San Francisco.

“Who are we fooling?” Sears asked. “Come on. Let’s say you get the vaccine. Go ahead and get the vaccine if that’s what you want to do. Get the vaccine. Don’t force it on anybody else.”

“We know – and by the way, media, they’re not telling us that people are suffering as a result of getting the vaccine,” she added. “They have all kinds of problems.”

It should be added these so-called “vaccines” do not stop the spread, and they only marginally lower transmission. Therefore, it’s none of anyone’s business, including the government’s, whether or not a free citizen chooses to get vaccinated.
