Fact Check: Concrete Wall Was NOT Erected In Front Of White House For Political Reasons

Is a concrete wall being erected in front of the White House for political reasons? No, that’s not true: A spokesperson for the National Park Service, the federal agency that oversees the White House as a part of President’s Park, told Lead Stories that the construction on the White House’s North Lawn is normal upkeep.

Videos emerged on YouTube and Twitter of a mysterious concrete wall built around the White House.

One YouTube channel called Penguinsix P6 shared a Livestream video called ‘’New White House construction underway as diggers arrive.’’

There you can see a digger moving white concrete barriers around the WH’s lawn.

No one knows what they are put for. However, Andrew Layden, the videographer who filmed this construction, thinks that it is for the white house’s fountain repairmen, although it is weird that the walls would be needed to maintain the water fountain.

The corporate media hasn’t issued any official statement on why the barriers were constructed.

Conservative Tree House reported:

These types of security barriers are sometimes erected when heads of state are planning to come to the White House. However, there doesn’t appear to be any information about an anticipated delegation or foreign dignitary.

Additionally, according to one researcher on social media {LINK}, all of the publicly available CCTV video-streams have been disabled as this work is taking place.

The perimeter fence appears to be approximately 10′ high and is made from reinforced concrete k-rails.

You never want to jump to conclusions, but given the COVID pandemic situation it’s doubtful the fencing would be for a head of state arrival.
