We Want it For THEM, Anyway

It just so happens that Mr. Trump’s stated desire to limit the immigration of Muslims “until,” he says, “we figure out what’s going on” with regard to the acts of mass murder and terror in our nation comports VERY WELL with the Left’s desire to limit religion in America. Let us let the left have their way in this matter.

It’s how one presents the matter that matters. Here is what Mr. Trump can say to placate the Left: We are going to limit immigration from all nations which have an actual or de facto religious-based government (Italy and Ireland excepted as determined appropriate). Let the nations of the world claim that they are secular if they want their people to leave their lands and come to America — and make those nations live that secularism if they desire any interaction with America.

And the feminists can be placated in particular by declaring that America will not allow immigration from any nation that is patriarchal in nature; that is pretty much every practicing Muslim nation at least.

And they say we won’t compromise with the left. Heck, give the left what they want, or at least what they say they want!
