At 1:01:32 in the video, Perspectives on the Pandemic | Professor Knut Wittkowski Update Interview | Episode 5, and lasting just three minutes, see link below, Knut Wittkowski, (see after my sign off for pertinent information), says a mouthful regarding why we’re being penned in [my words] by government with this pandemic as the excuse, “If people would be more…awake…this [squelching of society, economy, people’s rights] would never have happened.” Translation, we’re letting it happen.

He continues, “It’s ridiculous [what has happened]. So what we should do immediately, now that we know, already, that we have developed herd immunity, despite of that social distancing, at least to some level…a quite relevant portion of the population.  We should open schools and businesses yesterday at the latest.  There is no reason whatever to wait.”  He said that there will continue to be cases and that this is unavoidable, but also says that the lockdown and social distancing (SocDist in newspeak) and those measures foisted upon the people by the government have only delayed our collective acquisition of herd immunity, and that this delay will cause more deaths among the susceptible- the elderly with co-morbidities- than would have died had government not acted as it has, but allowed the people to be the people.

Knut Wittkowski spent twenty years as head of The Rockefeller University’s Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design.  [Normally, I would suspect someone with this pedigree of being a part of the problem, but he overcomes what must be a bad influence of associations to counter Dr. Anthony Fauci, whom he humorously analogizes to Dr. Strangelove, et. al. to insist that [anti]social-distancing, (in newspeak, “SocDist”) has done no good, overall, and has been harmful all things considered.]

As Dr. Wittkowski has been accused of misrepresenting previous affiliations and not disclosing potential conflicts of interest, he would like to declare that he (a) never was or claimed to have been a Professor at The Rockefeller University and (b) currently is the CEO of ASDERA LLC, a company that discovers novel interventions against complex diseases including one that could potentially be effective against virus (including coronavirus) diseases.
