RBN website now on Firefox hit-list?

September 12, 2017 in News, RBN Updates by RBN

Hello John [Stadtmiller]. I was just about to start browsing your site, as I am wont to do on most nights, but I was hit up with a warning message from my internet security (Kaspersky) telling me it could not verify the authenticity of RBN. I attached the picture of the exact message. Given the assault that your network and Michael Rivero’s website has been under lately, I’m not sure if this is cause for larger concern but I thought I would bring it to your attention. Mozilla Firefox is yet another browser that will be implementing ‘Fake News” filters in the coming months. This may be a prelude to such measures.

Response from RBN: Although we can never rule out censorship being carried out in some form against our efforts to spread the truth, this issue presented by the listener is often caused by over-sensitive security software related to image-hosting on websites. RBN’s website is free of any malware/viruses.
