The Biggest Political Story Of 2020 Is Being IGNORED

You would think that the biggest story of the Trump presidency—the investigation into whether he colluded with Russia—would be HUGE right now, especially because we’re rolling into another presidential election.

However, it seems that after Trump was exonerated of collusion, nobody wants to talk about it anymore, even though there’s still a lot to discuss.

Well, by “nobody,” we mean the mainstream media.

But there is one person still talking about it, and even better, doing something about it.

When Attorney General Bill Barr talked about investigating whether the FBI was out of line for acquiring the FISA warrants needed to spy on the 2016 Trump presidential campaign, a lot people started getting VERY nervous in DC and Virginia.

Why?

Because everyone knew that the FBI didn’t do this one “by the book.” They knew that there were shortcuts taken in order to get this violation of privacy and basic human rights up and running.

Of course, people knew they were in trouble the moment FBI agents (and lovers) Peter Strzok and Lisa Page had their private texts revealed to the world. They OPENLY talked about stopping Donald Trump from winning the election or taking him down before he could be inaugurated.

The fact that Robert Mueller actually CHOSE him for his investigation is mindboggling…

And everybody remembers his evil, weasel face on TV during his Congressional hearing.

Bias Isn’t Proof – But THIS Is

But bias isn’t proof of a crime.

Bias just means they have an opinion, and it doesn’t mean that biased people would act illegally.

But John Durham’s investigation into the Trump FISA warrants has turned up some interesting things. Not only has it revealed that the entire FBI investigation into Trump was built on a false premise, but as it turns out, it was based on illegal and fraudulent documents filed by an FBI lawyer who is now facing jail time for his stupid decision.

FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith just plead guilty to altering a document that was then used to obtain a secret FISA application and warrant to spy on Carter Page, a mid-level staffer for the Trump campaign.

But with the way the warrants work, the FBI could also spy on anybody that Carter Page talked to, which created an intricate web of illegal surveillance.

The DOJ’s statement said, “Clinesmith pleaded guilty to one count of making a false statement within both the jurisdiction of the executive branch and judicial branch of the U.S. government, an offense that carries a maximum term of imprisonment of five years and a fine of up to $250,000.”

Now, Clinesmith won’t be sentenced till December…

But the fact remains that he LIED to get the FISA warrants used to spy on a PRIVATE American citizen.

He screwed up big time, and evidence of that screwup proved that everything about the entire investigation into Trump was nothing more than a political hit job.

Crickets From The Mainstream Media

Yet…

NOBODY is talking about it.

You won’t hear it mentioned on ANY of the mainstream media channels because they don’t want America to know that the entire waste of time and taxpayer money was all built on lies.

Not only that…

They most likely don’t want to admit they were snowed, confessing that they allowed their bias to take over in the hopes that the Trump story was real.

They chose to believe a false narrative rather than give the man the benefit of the doubt. Their crime is ignoring their own journalistic integrity.

And that’s the real shame…

The Fourth Estate is supposed to be the American people’s last line of defense, our own way to keep checks and balances on the government—and we can no longer trust them to be objective.

We’re on our own, folks…

“The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.” – Ayn Rand
