Police later reported that a light-colored SUV, driven by a black male, fired on police officers and National Guard members early on Sunday morning just past 4 am, hours after Waters broke curfew and marched with far-left activists and called for violence. Two members of the guard sustained minor injuries, and one was taken to the hospital with cuts from shattered glass.
Waters has a history of inciting violence, and in June 2018, she told a crowd of supporters in Los Angeles to confront and harass Trump officials if they were seen out in public in a store, gas station or restaurant.
Freshman Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene said Sunday that she plans to introduce a resolution calling on Congress to expel sixteen-term Representative Maxine Waters over incendiary remarks Waters made at an anti-police protest in Brooklyn City, Minnesota.
