When you start calling a 7-year old a Nazi because he supports a political position that you don’t like, it’s time to rethink your life choices.

This little dude was just called a ‘little Hitler’ for supporting the President’s border policy.

Benton Stevens, 7, from Austin, Texas watched the President’s State of the Union address with his Republican parents, Jennifer and Shane Stevens. Little Benton was inspired to help fund the border wall by selling hot chocolate in front of a local business. He and his brother made some signs, his mom helped him whip up a couple batches of hot chocolate and set up a table in front of a local strip mall on Saturday.

Benton got a lot of support and raised $231 in the first hour.

Jennifer and Shane Stevens are members of the Republican National Committee. They say they frequently share their political views with their son.

‘People think he’s brainwashed,’ she said.

‘Well, of course, he supports Trump because we do, and he hears how we talk and this and that.

‘Call that brainwashing, but I call it parenting, because we instill our values in him.’

Jennifer Stevens said her son begged her to allow him to set up a hot chocolate stand to help raise money for the border wall, KEYE-TV reported.

It wasn’t all sunshine and lollipops for Benton’s little project. There were some complaints to the store owner even though the Stevenses insisted that the hot chocolate stand was on the store’s property.

But the issue refused to die as several Facebook users posted photos of the hot chocolate stand, sparking intense debate online.

The controversy ‘fired up’ Benton, who convinced his parents to let him set up the stand again on Sunday.

In total, Benton has raised around $6,000 for the border wall.

On Sunday, something awful happened.

That day, Jennifer Stevens said someone drove by and called her son ‘a little Hitler.’

‘A guy pointed at him in his car and then he said that we didn’t like brown people,’ she said.

‘I don’t understand that at all.’

But it’s not all terrible news. People on both sides of the aisle were outraged that a young boy was subjected to such harsh language. Some of the people that were critical of Benton have now come and apologized in the wake of the incident. This has inspired the youngster to do something for his community.

In the spirit of bipartisanship, the boy is ‘thinking about doing a free hot chocolate stand for people from both sides of the debate since there are so many people sticking up for him,’ his mother said.
