A MOST BASIC LESSON IN MONEY (THE DOLLAR)

A MOST BASIC LESSON IN LARCENY (AKA THE DOLLAR)
How is it, in these several states, that we came to have what we call “money?” I refer to the paper with numbers and dead founders pictured thereon. Everybody understands trading or bartering, but few truly understand what we call money, how it works, and why it has value.
Let’s start at the beginning. To make this less complicated- that is BASIC- I will speak of trading among just a few individuals, but it is all applicable to any number of traders.
Farmer Apple (who only has apples to trade) and Farmer Beef (who only has beef to trade) live in a small community with Farmer Wheat (who only has wheat to trade) and Farmer Milk (you know the drill). There is no money in this community so all transactions are made by trading goods (often called bartering). With this system, the community survives very well because goods are traded and value is determined- and measured- by other goods.
However, one day every year comes the time when Farmer Apple finds that nobody needs any more of his apples. What is Farmer Apple to do? Why, he must find other goods to trade with his neighbors. He is in luck; the other community members determine that they’d enjoy some fish. There are, however, no fishable waters in their community.
This apparent deficiency is Farmer Apple’s opportunity.
Every year Farmer Apple loads up his wagon with apples and goes to a river community- some distance away- to trade with (didn’t you know his name had to be) Mr. Fish. Every year Farmer Apple trades his wagonload of apples for the fish he brings back to his community to trade for beef, milk and wheat. Trading works well for the people of the community.
However, it is something of a hardship to travel with a wagonload of apples, so farmer Apple seeks to find a way to travel lighter. Into this community, one year, Mr. Miner comes to live. He is an expert at mining and smelting and fashioning metals, (gold in this case), into jewelry, bullion, and also into a form of guaranteed purity and weight; we call them “coins”.
Now, farmer Apple, though he still needs to travel to the river community every year to trade for fish, doesn’t need to load up a wagon with apples and transport them a long distance to get that fish. Instead, he takes those apples that would have made the trip and trades them for some gold coins. Farmer Apple takes the gold coins, (with the same value as those apples), and merely puts them into his pocket and goes off to trade for fish.
We see here one of the reasons that a “monetary system” always overtakes a strict trading system: convenience. Gold and/or other precious metals also make for an easy way to store wealth. If you attempt to store apples, they will shrivel and spoil. Store gold coins, however, and avoid spoilage. Also, one needn’t build a big warehouse to store apples but merely find a way to securely store a handful of coins.
The community is doubly in luck, because, they find, Mr. Miner not only is good at producing those gold coins, he can expertly fashion a heavy vault which can safely store the coins which others bring to him for safekeeping. As the farmers leave their coins for safekeeping, having paid a small fee for that safekeeping service, Mr. Miner, (who is also known as Mr. Banker), issues them a receipt for their coins.
For instance, if Mr. Apple leaves two coins of one ounce apiece, Mr. Miner/Banker issues him two receipts, each reading, “This receipt can be reimbursed for one gold coin of one ounce.” Anybody with the receipt can go in and redeem it for a gold coin any time they want. Well, this makes trade/commerce even more convenient because, instead of carrying around the coins for trading, one can carry the receipts for trading. After all, the receipt is for the gold, so the receipt is “as good as gold.”
Voila – we have “money”.
And just as simple as that is, you will find just as devious and treacherous is the larceny it enables. Here is how the farmers’ labor and wealth could be stolen from them without their even knowing it. Suppose that their community has deposited the total of 100 gold coins of one ounce apiece into Mr. Miner/Banker’s vault. Of course, 100 receipts for those coins have been issued and are traded among the farmers in the community with the value of the coins they represent. Very good, all on the up and up.
But suppose that Mr. Miner/Banker figures out- AND HE WILL– that he can secretly write up some counterfeit receipts for himself without even depositing any gold. To make it simple let’s say that the despicable Mr. Miner/Banker secretly writes up 100 false receipts and uses them to trade/buy, (by larceny), in the community. The result is the same as melting the coins and debasing them such that they contain only ½ ounce of gold and are filled with another metal such as copper and Mr. Miner/Banker redeems the farmers’ receipts with coins of only ½ ounce of gold. THIS IS COUNTERFEITING; see section 19. (Also, God calls this an ABOMINATION as it is a particularly sneaky version of “Dishonest scales.)
Do you see how the farmers have been fooled and cheated? The value of the receipts- as the indisputable fact of the consequences of the law of supply and demand assures us that the more of something there is the less valuable each of them becomes- the buying power of those receipts have effectively been reduced in an unfair manner; this is commonly referred to as INFLATION.* And Mr. Miner/Banker is “buying” goods from the farmers without his even having had to labor. He has plundered the farmers’ labor and, until reading something like this, those fictitious farmers may not ever have been able to discern that they have been cheated.
Well, you may argue, we don’t need to worry about that because our money is no longer backed by gold, about which, in his seminal work in 1966, Alan Greenspan, protested, “…gold and economic freedom are inseparable.”*** But that was before Greenspan began running the Federal Reserve. In fact, if the people using the receipts were still able to redeem them for gold, (and the THE FED Mr. Miner/Banker only stole, say, 2% of the people’s labor every year), this would keep Mr. Miner/Banker at least a bit in check as the people could “run on his bank” and get their gold if he printed so many receipts that the value of them fell so much as to hurt the farmers’ buying power enough. (Like is happening now and continuously since 1913.) But, since the receipts are no longer backed by gold, they can be printed up and put into circulation at will. And since they no longer need to be actually printed, but can be put into circulation digitally, there is NO STOPPING the larceny which proceeds at the pace of bouncing electrons. Your government can give you the illusion of prosperity while loading inextinguishable debt onto you and your children and their children. (Witness the Democrat Governor of Wisconsin enacting a property tax to pay for a skool spending increase every year for the next 400 years.) The value of your dollar could literally go to zero overnight.
A nation does not get into $40,000,000,000,000, (40 trillions dollars), debt with several hundreds of trillions dollars of unfunded liabilities honestly. (Click here to see what 1 Trillion dollars is and then multiply that by 40.) The patience of the American people- those who wrote in the declaration of independence will testify- will allow them to “suffer evils while evils are sufferable,” and is what stops them from throwing off corrupt government and providing new guards for future security.
Thank you for reading this,

- INFLATION is not the reduction in buying power of “money.” The term INFLATION is used deceptively to make you think that because it does not tell you who is to blame, i.e. your government. INFLATION actually refers to the increase (expansion) of the “money supply.” If the increase matches productivity, prices will generally not be affected by it, though Mr. Miner/Banker, aka The Federal Reserve and its cohorts still profit off your labor. But if Mr. Miner Banker, (aka the Federal Reserve Bank and your government), increases the number of receipts (dollars) without an increase in productivity (or deposition of precious metals into the treasury),** prices will increase and the buying power of the dollar(s) is (are) then reduced, generally while your paycheck does not grow. So, the price increases are an EFFECT OF inflation, they are not inflation. This matters greatly and this larcenous activity God refers to as dishonest scales as an ABOMINATION BECAUSE it allows some to unfairly eat from the sweat of the brow of OTHERS, not their own, as God has commanded us. When eating from the sweat of the brow of others, the others are slaves; in the case of the US taxpayer a part-time slave. The founders of this nation called it COUNTERFEITING and argued against paper money- see your constitution- and you will find the punishment for it in section 19 of the Coinage Act of 1792. Because it enables larceny on a scale that will destroy a nation- (like Democrats accuse Republicans of doing and vice-versa-) the penalty is death.
** This is why Ron Paul and his son Rand and some other decent people like Senator Ron Johnson want an audit of Fort Knox. Your government has been cheating you all your life as it did your parents and their parents. The year 1913 is the last year that this collection of several states could be called a republic. The popular election of senators, instituted in 1913, turning Senators from STATESmen to something else, is enough to destroy a republic, but, as well, the Federal Reserve, and the “voluntary” income tax were also started in 1913, (all destructive of a republic and your liberty). Since then, the buying power of a 1913 dollar has been reduced to ½ cent or reduced 99.5%. Your government dines sumptuously on your labor. (Know this: There are many good people in government, but not all.)
Oh, and Establishment of a National (Central) Bank such as The Fed(eral Reserve Bank) by which the value of the labor/wealth of the people could be stolen is the 5th plank of Marx’s Communist Manifesto’s ten planks. A heavy, progressive income tax is 2nd. Ask Mr. Mamdani which number is Abolition of private property in land and application of all rents of land to government purpose. (Marx said public purpose. Ha ha. It is actually oligarch purpose.)
*** (Mr. Greenspan’s work closes with this exposure of the larceners’ reason for going off the gold standard.) “An almost hysterical antagonism toward the gold standard is one issue which unites statists of all persuasions.” He continues, “This is the shabby secret of the welfare statists’ tirades against gold. Deficit spending is simply a scheme for the confiscation of wealth [which the people have earned by their labor]. Gold stands in the way of this insidious process. It stands as a protector of property rights. If one grasps this, one has no difficulty in understanding the statists’ antagonism toward the gold standard.”
The commies’ and other statists’ general plan may be found here. (Based upon the writings of Hillary Clinton’s hero, Saul Alinsky.)
