Each day across the news feeds in America, you hear or read about racial tensions at schools, at work, in politics, and at conferences in most major cities across this nation. It’s redundant, irritating, divisive and unending.
Are we Americans ever going to get over our racial divide? How will we do that? Let’s face it, we’ve come a long way with our voting laws, our equal rights laws, our integration laws, work laws, our media hiring of minorities, our advertisements featuring minorities, our politics…and yet, we see chosen segregation in housing areas, in restaurants, in schools, in clubs, in beauty pageants, All-Black Entertainment TV shows, in businesses and the list grows.
JONATHAN TURLEY: “USC abandons governor debate after Dems whine about White candidates. Becerra claimed ‘election rigging’ after no candidates of color qualified, and USC scrapped debate it defended.”
The University of Southern California (USC) is under fire after cancelling the gubernatorial debate with less than 24 hours’ notice. The reason? None of the polling candidates are people of color. “It was a crushingly revealing moment in a state where universities have long defied voters who demanded an end to affirmative action in admissions,” Turley said.
[Editor’s Note: We believe the real reason the gubernatorial debate was cancelled is because the California liberals are afraid of candidate Steve Hilton, because Steve would expose the Fraud on Live TV.]
The fact remains that California stands as one of America’s most diverse states. With over 40 million people, it features immigrants from at least 70 different countries. It’s also drowning in debt.
“California’s total state and local government debt exceeds $1 trillion, the highest in the nation, often estimated around $1.37 trillion to $1.6 trillion when including unfunded pension and healthcare liabilities. This debt represents over $27,000.00 per resident.”
So, who is in charge? Governor Gavin Newsom pretends to be charge, but he flounders in his own verbal ink.
California Democrats are in a panic as two Republicans currently top the polling: Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco and commentator Steve Hilton. At the same time, the leading Democrats include controversial candidates such as former Rep. Katie Porter and Rep. Eric Swalwell. Porter is best known for her profanity, and abuse of staff members.
But no matter what anyone says or does, race-baiting and arguments boil to the surface.
USC officials said, “We recognize that concerns about the selection criteria for tomorrow’s gubernatorial debate have created a significant distraction from the issues that matter to voters. Unfortunately, USC and KABC have not been able to reach an agreement on expanding the number of candidates at tomorrow’s debate. As a result, USC has made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s debate and will look for other opportunities to educate voters on the candidates and issues.”
Out in Texas, House Member Jasmine Crockett, who lost her U.S. Senate election bid, accused the white majority of racism. In fact, her entire electioneering stance for years has been “race” instead of policy.
House Member Jasmine Crockett blasts ‘left’ for alleged skin darkening in ads as Texas Senate clash heats up. Progressive House Democrat claims she’s facing racially motivated attacks from her left flank in explosive primary battle. She lost her U.S. Senate bid to a white guy named James Talarico.
Allred exited the race in December 2025 but earlier in February alleged that Talarico referred to Congressman Allred as a “mediocre Black man” in reference to his campaign against the former lawmaker.
“As a Black man in America, Congressman Allred has had to work twice as hard to get where he is,” Talarico said. “I understand how my critique of the congressman’s campaign could be interpreted given this country’s painful legacy of racism, and I care deeply about the impact my words have on others. Despite our disagreements, I deeply respect Congressman Allred. We’re all on the same team.”
In other words, is there a point in America where race relations might even out, come to some balance or vanish as America continues to import millions of different races from around the world?
Can we get past our biological differences to grow a kinder, more even-keeled citizenry?
After church yesterday, I shared lunch with a longtime friend of my wife Sandi. We got to talking about “race relations” in America. This lady is quite liberal. She talked about “racism is learned.” I said it was, “Biologically based on tribalism, language, color and culture.” She said, “Whites enslaved the blacks, whites killed the Native Americans.” I said, “The Egyptians enslaved Africans to build the pyramids. The Chinese enslaved non-Chinese to build the Great Wall of China. The Romans enslaved anyone they conquered to build their roads and structures.”
In other words, humans have enslaved other humans since the dawn of recorded history. Can we go back and correct the situation for those enslaved people or their offspring? Where do you start? What kind of reparations would solve any of it on the world stage?
When I look back on America’s past, our Constitution allowed us to stop slavery. Today, just about every person in America enjoys a decent shot at a free education, free speech, personal freedom, no slavery, job choices, and enjoying abundant food, friends and the “pursuit of happiness.” The “Rule of Law” protects us from government intrusion. Even the people marching in the “No Kings” demonstrations this past weekend enjoyed every freedom to protest. Unlike the 32,000 kids who were slaughtered in Iran in January, American protesters enjoy tremendous self-expression freedoms.
You can’t say that for people in Russia, China, India, North Korea, Mexico, Cuba, Somalia, Sudan, Congo, Iran and dozens of other countries around the globe.
No matter what your race, if you live in Europe, Australia, Canada or America—it’s a good bet your life, no matter what your color—is a lucky happenstance of your living in a Western country. You are a lucky human being.
