Ryan Wentz, an anti-war activist and podcaster says he was left “shaken” after two California Highway Patrol plainclothes police officers came to his apartment last week, accusing him of posting a tweet that they described as a “threat to kill a sitting member of Congress” Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC). Wentz had criticized the hollow analysis by AOC when she was asked about peace between Israelis and Palestinians. Wentz posted this message on Twitter, “Her response was incredibly underwhelming, to say the very least….Words AOC used: “What” “How”, Words AOC didn’t use: “Occupation” “Apartheid” “Colonization” “Genocide”. That, in the eyes of the California Highway Patrol, not only was a “threat to kill” but, somehow was a matter of concern to highway safety. AOC sent out a mass email in February asking her supporters to report anyone who criticizes her to the tech monopolies in order to censor them. She has 12.6-million Twitter followers. -GEG

A left-wing, anti-war activist says he was left “shaken” after two police officers came to his apartment in California last week, accusing him of threatening Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter.

Ryan Wentz, who goes by the Twitter handle @queeralamode, said the plainclothes California Highway Patrol officers came to his door Thursday, after he posted video of some vague remarks made by Ocasio-Cortez on Israel and Palestine and criticized her comments as “incredibly underwhelming.”

“I lightly criticized @AOC for a disappointing answer in response to a question about Palestine/Israel,” Wentz tweeted.

As a result, he said, police arrived at his address. At first, the two officers yelling his name sounded like, “my Postmates delivery,” Wentz said in a podcast Friday.
