Latest figures show the death toll from fresh Israeli aerial and ground attacks against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip has risen to at least 830.
Several Palestinians were killed after Israeli warplanes and tanks targeted residential areas and civilian sites across the impoverished region on early hours of Friday.
Palestinian officials say nearly a dozen people, including women and children, have been killed in separate Israeli strikes on Rafah, Khan Yunis and Deir al-Balah.
Also, Israeli tanks keep shelling the Nuseirat refugee camp in the northeast of Deir al-Balah.
Witnesses say Israeli forces have been bombing everywhere in the Gaza Strip including hospitals and UN-run schools, in which many Palestinians have sought refuge.
Media reports say more than 100 Palestinians were killed on Thursday alone.
Palestinian Health Ministry said on Friday that at least 830 Palestinians have been killed and over 5,200 others injured since the start of the Israeli offensive on July 8.
According to UN estimates, the majority of victims are civilians. More than 190 children are among the casualties.
Meanwhile, a humanitarian crisis is looming large as Gaza hospitals are running low on basic medical supplies.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has urged setting up a humanitarian corridor in the besieged region to allow for the evacuation of the wounded.
“WHO is calling for the creation of a humanitarian corridor…to reach various crossings and to help in the evacuation of the large number of injured people,” said Paul Garwood, a spokesman for the UN health agency, adding, “There is a daily increase in casualty figures.”
