A young ex-congressional staffer will spend several years behind bars.

An ex-congressional aide who doxxed several Republican Senators during Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings was sentenced to prison time Wednesday.

Jackson Cosko will spend four years behind bars for his role in stealing the personal information of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, and Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Mike Lee (R-Utah) and now-retired Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), and posting it to Wikipedia, according to The New York Post.

Cosko, who is the son of a wealthy political insider, was formerly the systems administrator for New Hampshire Sen. Maggie Hassan. He was fired in May o2018, but repeatedly snuck back into the office to collect data from the office’s computer systems.

“During these break-ins, Cosko copied dozens of gigabytes of data, including the contact info for many sitting senators, court documents show,” The Post said. “Cosko pleaded guilty to five felonies in April, including making public restricted personal information, computer fraud, witness tampering and obstruction of justice.”

Another former Hassan aide, Samantha Deforest Davis, was also charged for helping Cosko.

Cosko’s father is a big time donor to and friend of powerful Democrats.

Big League Politics reported:

Cosko’s father Greg works as the CEO of Hathaway Dinwiddie, a large construction corporation that once built a structure on the University of California-Berkeley campus dedicated to Feinstein’s husband.

The elder Cosko led the cronyist San Francisco Chamber of Commerce for years where he became very well-acquainted with the likes of Feinstein, House Majority Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and other members of the corrupt Democratic elite.

He also serves on the San Francisco State University board along with infamous California politician Willie Brown who received favors from Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris in exchange for a career push.
