Chairman of the Republican Jewish Coalition and former US Senator Norm Coleman said at the Jewish News Syndicate’s international policy summit in Jerusalem that Israel should not be losing the digital propaganda war because “the masters of the universe are Jews!”
“A majority of Gen Z have an unfavorable impression of Israel,” Coleman lamented on Sunday. “And my friends I think the reason of that is that we’re losing the digital war.”
“They’re getting their information from TikTok and X– whatever it is,” he continued. “And we’re losing that war and when you think about it, the masters of the universe are Jews!”
“We’ve got Altman at AI, we’ve got Zuckerberg, we’ve got Sergey Brin — we’ve got a group across the board — Jan Koum, who founded WhatsApp — it’s us!” Coleman added.
“We have to figure out a way to win the digital battle … we’ve got to get our digital sneakers on so that the truth can prevail over the lies! And when we do that, the future of Israel will be stronger because the majority of all Americans will support Israel — we’ll make that happen and we have to make it happen! Thank you, Baruch Hashem!”
Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said similar earlier this year when he spoke before the Israeli Knesset about the importance of “capturing” TikTok.
“Capturing TikTok might seem less meaningful than holding on to Mount Hermon…but this is urgent because the next war will be decided based on how Israel and its allies perform online,” he said.
Greenblatt also said that the kind of “genius” behind the Jewish state’s pager attack on Lebanon is now needed to fight antisemitism.
