“I fear Elon Musk could undermine the ideological diversity, equity and inclusion at Twitter which currently maintains a careful balance of 98.7% for one side.”

Come stare straight at this chart:

CLOSER!

Not only is this an actual work of journalism from Vox, but it’s from 2018.

How much further to the left do you think those employees have gone in the last 4 years?

If you still don’t see the problem, try the old switch-a-roo: Do you think a social media company with employees who give 98.7% of their donations to the Republican Party can maintain a neutral and objective place for the exchange of ideas?

And for those who are upset at Elon Musk, take a gander at Tesla:

Perhaps that’s changed since the company moved to Texas, but I doubt it’s changed much. Big Tech has always been an industry that supports the political left.

They’re a group of keyboard warriors who believe they are creating the future, but also have a kind of weird guilt for making good money. The end result is that they listen to whatever political schmuck promises to help the poor and disenfranchised… you know, by banning private property and abolishing the Constitution.

Maybe the lefties should calm down a bit and realize that Twitter is likely to remain a very left-leaning place: Just not a place where their 98.7% leftist makeup gets to determine what’s true in the real world.
