Vice President Kamala Harris shared remarks on the anniversary of Jan. 6, strangely comparing the day to 9/11 and Pearl Harbor.

Nearly 3,000 Americans died on 9/11 and thousands of U.S. troops died at the hands of Japanese forces at Pearl Harbor.

In contrast, one person was shot on Jan. 6 and an officer reportedly died from injuries related to the event.

If the comparison was even somewhat accurate, the flag over the White House would be at half mast on Jan. 6. But it wasn’t.

Jan. 6 was controversial, but it wasn’t an attack by a foreign army or terrorist group that killed thousands. For Harris to treat it as equally important points out how out of touch she and other Democrat leaders are about the realities facing our nation.

When a reporter asked White House Secretary Jen Psaki about the comparison, she downplayed the analysis and challenged people to address the attacks on democracy today…

…which is exactly what Harris did not do during her own speech. The words are both inaccurate and out of touch, terms that are becoming trademarks of the vice president as she reaches her first year in office.

You have to see Psaki’s words and the clip from Harris to understand how ridiculous the politics around the issue have become. See it now in one short clip below.
