Mark Dankof responds to Robert Kagan’s “Checkmate in Iran” for The Atlantic

Mark Dankof underscores the audacity of Robert Kagan’s endorsement of the American-Israeli attack on Iran followed by Kagan’s attempt at achieving the public’s diversion from this fact by mimicking the analysis of Colonel Douglas Macgregor, Lt. Colonel Daniel Davis, Lt. Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski, Dr. Philip Giraldi, and The Duran, all who opposed launching the war and who predicted the subsequent disaster BEFORE February 28th. Kagan also omits the real agenda he, wife Victoria Nuland, and the denizens of the Project for the New American Century have for their incessant global wars: Netanyahu’s Greater Israel and the establishment of a Global Homo World Government led by a largely Jewish power elite in the United States and the West. Bad news exists for Mr. Kagan and his crowd: Iran, Russia, and China will kick this power elite’s hind end before the American public decides that a Necktie Party is in order.

Letter to The Editor:
In “Checkmate in Iran” for your magazine, Robert Kagan, the “Pope of the Neo-Cons” now writes about the disastrous character of the American-Israeli attack on Iran, an attack he endorsed at the outset.
Mr. Kagan omits this fact, along with any apology for having done so. I assume he will follow this same Orwellian course of action in allowing the public to forget the catastrophic outcome of the Kagan-Nuland policy in Ukraine, where the attempt to continue the NATO expansions and the encirclement of Russia is soon to result in outright Russian victory after the loss of billions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of lives.
I have the strange feeling that Mr. Kagan and Wolfgang Munchau are laying the groundwork for an American escalation of the war with Iran and the accompanying introduction of ground troops there in what would be the merciful end of the American Empire and the possible recovery of the Old American Republic.
The former seems both inevitable and guaranteed. I’m not sanguine about the recovery of a better America without the elitist “leadership” of Mr. Kagan, Ms. Nuland, and the other denizens of the Project for the New American Century.
