December 23, 1776, Thomas Paine’s “The American Crisis #1” was read to the American Army during the Revolutionary War. After a year of devastating losses, it encouraged the demoralized army to keep fighting. This is a video I did in 2022. It’s so good I didn’t bother making a new one!
