Susan Rice Net Worth Exposed: $50M As A CAREER Politician Making $172K At Her Max Salary
The Democratic party is full of corrupt liberals. Under former President Barack Obama, progressives managed to make incredible amounts of money. However, much of their income was earned unethically. Out of all of the Democrats, the former National Security Adviser, Susan Rice, is among the most corrupt and dishonest.
Just recently, it was revealed that while some people have gotten rich by working in the private sector, she used her government position to make millions. Despite being a lifelong civil servant, she now has a net worth totaling nearly $50 million, which is extremely questionable.

In 2012, the Washington Post reported that she and her husband were allegedly worth over $20 million. Five years later, their wealth doubled. This happened despite the fact that she was only making $172,000 a year. It appears that much of her wealth may have been acquired unethically. Most of her money seems to have come from investments in Canadian oil companies.
According to May 2012 financial disclosure documents, she has invested between $300,000 and $600,000 in TransCanada Corporation. The company is best known for owning the Keystone XL pipeline and they’ve recently tried to have it completed in the U.S. To finish, they need to build 1,700 miles worth of pipe from Canada to Texas. Although the Obama administration stopped the deal, Trump and his team have reversed course and approved a permit to start construction. As a major investor, Rice stands to profit immensely.

On top of that, she’s also invested heavily in several major Canadian banks. Some of the banks she’s invested in are expected to help finance the upcoming construction, which will make her even more money. Further, it’s reported that she owns between $50,000 and $100,000 worth of shares in Suncor, an oil sand company, and $1.25 million in Transalta, Alberta’s electric power producer. Ironically, all of these investments are inconsistent with her party’s platform pushing “clean energy.”
Rice has been widely discredited in the political community due to her dishonesty. She’s best known for lying to the American people about what caused the attack on a U.S. embassy in Benghazi. After the attack occurred, she wrongly blamed it on an offensive video spread around the internet. In an interview on ABC, she called the attack a “reaction to this very offensive video that was disseminated.” Since her statement, it has since been proven that the attack was actually organized prior to the video’s release.

She also defended Bo Bergdahl, an Army soldier who allegedly abandoned his post. According to her, he served with “honor and distinction” despite being found to have left deliberately without leave. To clarify, she explained, “I realize there has been lots of discussion and controversy around this but what I was referring to was the fact that this was a young man who volunteered to serve his country in uniform at a time of war. That, in and of itself, is a very honorable thing.” She seems to believe that he was honorable for simply serving in the military, regardless of whether or not he deserted those who depended on him.

Last month, White House investigators found out that she was also responsible for revealing the identities of specific U.S. people related to President Trump’s campaign in raw intelligence reports. In response to the discovery, many were outraged. Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) argued that her conduct was extremely inappropriate. He claimed, “when you’re in position like that and you have responsibility, constitutional responsibility, legal responsibility, you do not take things upon yourself to drive national security in a political direction.” He added, “this is exactly what was done, whether it was intentional, or somebody else had that idea.”
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) also spoke out against her actions, calling for her to testify under oath about what she did. He reasoned, “if it is allowed, we shouldn’t be allowing it, but I don’t think should just discount how big a deal it is that Susan Rice was looking at these.“ He added, “and she needs to be asked, ‘Did President Obama ask her to do this? Was this a directive from President Obama? I think she should testify under oath on this.”

In the past, she’s also denied knowing about any surveillance of the Trump campaign. During an interview with PBS, she claimed that “nothing of the sort occurred.” However, CNN confirmed that she did, in fact, request the identities of certain individuals being watched. Her staff released a statement to try and clarify what happened: “The idea that Ambassador Rice improperly sought the identities of Americans is false. There is nothing unusual about making these requests when serving as a senior national security official, whether Democrat or Republican.” If she tried to “unmask” them, then she had to know that they were being surveilled. Despite this, she stands by her comment.
Another thing she lied about was the chemical weapons in Syria. After their military used chemical weapons in an attack against rebel forces, Obama refused to act, opting for a more diplomatic solution instead. According to her, they were “able to get the Syrian government to voluntarily and verifiably give up its chemical weapons stockpile” thanks to this alternative solution. But shortly after her statement, President Bashar Al Assad began using chemical weapons again, proving she was either wrong or she lied once again. Given her track record, it’s likely that she was being dishonest.

In 2014, former Secretary of State John Kerry attempted to explain what she meant to try and make her look better. He claimed that they “got 100 percent of the declared chemical weapons out of Syria,” suggesting that the weapons currently being used were either manufactured afterward or not declared.

Based on what she’s said about Benghazi, Bo Bergdahl, government surveillance, unmasking, and chemical weapons, it’s clear that Rice cannot be trusted. She needs to be held accountable for what she’s said. Trump should work with Congress to make sure that people who make deliberate lies, such as the ones she’s made, are appropriately disciplined.
The left’s silence regarding Rice’s wealth and dishonesty is hypocritical. When their own party is getting rich, in a way that doesn’t support our economy, they remain silent. But when Trump gets rich in a way that supports the United States economy and creates jobs, the left cries out in anger. And if he accidentally misspeaks, the media attacks him, but when she deliberately lies, progressives makes excuses.
