The commercial real estate market is BOOMING in Palm Beach, Florida. Surely, this “migration” can’t be related to the incredibly successful COVID-19 strategy of the Republican Government under Gov. Ron DeSantis can it? No! The left cries out in a unified voice, NO!!!

It isn’t like powerful, prominent Wall Street businesses and tens of thousands of residents are fleeing from New York City’s paradise of equity near totalitarian leftist regime under Lord Mayor Bill DeBlasio and the Baron Governor Andrew Cuomo. Right? Oh, wait they are? (Cue the shrill leftist Screams) ReeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeee!!!!!

The Florida Spike Joins Texas, Arizona, Utah

Well, now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s get into this. According to Zerohedge they have “noted numerous firms, including names like Point 72 and Goldman Sachs, branching out and/or leaving New York altogether in favor of greener pastures in Florida, since the pandemic started.”

They then continue to say that the demand for commercial office space in the Palm Beach area has jumped straight off the charts, adding “The city has officially become a “hot market” for commercial real estate, according to a new report from BNN Bloomberg. As a result of the boom, Manhattan developer Related Cos. “has been accelerating investments in West Palm Beach and now controls about a third of its downtown office stock,” the report notes.

The Great Migration Is Picking Up Speed

This isn’t the first we heard of it either, it seems the Bloomberg and even Zerohedge might be late to the party. Conservative sources like GOP NewsFeed started calling out the storm of growth brewing near the everglades back in April.

Arturo Peña told MultiHousing News,

“Families, young professionals, and empty nesters are relocating here due to the incredible weather and ample lifestyle opportunities,” he added, “Major businesses are also moving their entire operation here to what some are calling ‘Wall Street South.’”

In April, Patriot United News also reported on “The Great Migration”. The left is in utter denial as they are still two months on as the evidence mounts attempting to co-opt this phenomenon and attribute it to “climate migration” which is insane. At least Forbes was willing to admit it though, and it took a TRAVEL writer, not even one of their many political analysts to do it!

” Chris Dorsey (Not even a political contributor!) wrote a piece entitled “America’s Mass Migration Intensifies As ‘Leftugees’ Flee Blue States And Counties For Red” describing a mass migration of what he calls ‘Leftugees’ fleeing from Blue States and Counties for Red ones.

Dorsey wrote,

“The top five states seeing a mass exodus are all Democrat-controlled. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, California, New York, New Jersey, Michigan and Illinois lost a combined 4 million residents between 2010 and 2019.  Conversely, a recent study by U-Haul reported that the top five states to see the greatest influx of new residents include the Republican-led states of Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Ohio and Arizona.”

“These migration patterns could be a sign of the growing political divide in America, according to a recent Penn State report. “It’s a geographic form of polarization,” says Bruce Desmarais, an associate director of the Center for Social Analytics at Penn State. “It’s a phenomenon that political scientists refer to as the ‘hollowing out of the political center.’ Forty years ago, you could find many moderate Democrats and moderate Republicans in Congress. You don’t find that now—and we’re also seeing this dynamic in these migration patterns.”

Chris even had the receipts to back it up from the U.S. Census, you can see the visual representation below.

The Great Migration is now an undeniable fact. The left is going to continue to obfuscate and dodge the real conversation but the fact remains: the American people are moving in droves and they’re moving along ideological lines, surrounding themselves with like-minded people.

We are seeing a geographic polarization that aligning with the political one. Under historical precedent, this inevitably leads to division. Questions remain though: Will it be a peaceful or violent division? A partial or complete one? Will the United States evolve into two interlinked entities which are mostly self-governing but cooperate for defense and trade? Will a large amount of power be returned to the states in an enhanced form of Federalism? Or will we devolve into petty nation-states, while China and Russia carve up the world?

The one question no one is asking is: Can our divided nation go back to peacefully co-existing? It seems like nobody wants to answer that one because the left has no desire to and hasn’t in a long time, and the right has tired of asking.
