THE SCHIFF HITS THE FAN AS HOUSE COMMITTEE CONCLUDES NO RUSSIAN COLLUSION

The House Intelligence Committee is wrapping up its investigation into Trump colluding with the Russians to steal the election. They have determined after an exhaustive effort that there was absolutely no collusion between Trump and his team and the Russians. No one was hit harder by this news than democrat Adam Schiff, who has invested everything he had into proving Trump didn’t beat Hillary Clinton fair and square. Also a member of the House Intelligence Committee, Adam is throwing a Schiff-fit claiming the complete lack of evidence of collusion is all the evidence he needs to prove collusion.
Here’s some highlights as reported by The Hill:
The House Intelligence Committee is shutting down its contentious investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, the top Republican leading the probe announced on Monday.
The committee will interview no more witnesses and Republicans are in the process of preparing their final report…
The draft document asserts that there is no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians, the most politically charged question examined by the committee.
It will also contradict an official U.S. intelligence community assessment that Russian President Vladimir Putin showed a “preference” for Donald Trump during the race…
Schiff, who has consistently leaked findings from the committee, called the end of the investigation a “tragic milestone” and disputed that there was no collusion, though he offered no evidence to the contrary.
“By ending its oversight role in the only authorized investigation in the House, the Majority has placed the interests of protecting the President over protecting the country, and history will judge its actions harshly. If the Russians do have leverage over the President of the United States, the Majority has simply decided it would rather not know,” said Schiff in a statement.
President Trump was pleased to put this BS behind him:

To which Schiff replied:
This was not the finding of the House Intelligence Committee, Mr. President, but only a statement by its GOP members, who lack the courage to stand up to a President of their own party when the national interest necessitates it. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/973360355790479361 …
And then he sent out this:
BREAKING: GOP just shut down House Intel investigation, leaving questions unanswered, leads unexplored, countless witnesses uncalled, subpoenas unissued.
If Russians have leverage over the President, GOP has decided that it would rather not know. The minority’s work continues:
Don’t feel like you need to squint and read that stuff. Basically Schiff is saying that the committee hasn’t found any evidence of collusion, but if they could keep digging for another 14 months, maybe they’ll come up with something.
And that’s the thing, after over a year of investigating in which 73 witnesses were interviewed and 300,000 document reviewed, the House Intelligence Committee came up with nothing to support the idea that Trump colluded with the Russians. How much more do they need to do? I know the answer Adam Schiff has: he wants to keep going until it’s proven that Trump did something wrong, even if that takes the rest of time.
