Time Magazine published a detailed description of how the left organized the ouster of President Donald Trump in the 2020 election. It is a window into the structure of the groups that colluded to put Joe Biden into office. Some of the main players include Big Tech and the media outlets that control the flow of information. The AFL-CIO that supposedly represents workers, and the US Chamber of commerce that supposedly represents entrepreneurs, joined forces to pressure Trump and Republican politicians to accept defeat. The riots of Antifa and Black Lives Matter were weaponized as a looming threat against anyone who opposed or had the power to stop the certification of the 2020 election. -GEG

Time Magazine published a 6,500 word article by Molly Ball about how the outcome of the 2020 election was orchestrated to oust President Trump by left wing activists, unions, corporations, the Chamber of Commerce, tech monopolies, mainstream media, Democrat and Republican politicians, Antifa, and Black Lives Matter. Ball wrote that these actors “were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it.”

Other collaborators included the institutional left, like Planned Parenthood and Greenpeace, resistance groups like Indivisible and MoveOn, progressive data geeks and strategists, representatives of donors and foundations, state-level grassroots organizers, and Christian groups such as the National Association of Evangelicals and the National African American Clergy Network.

Mike Podhorzer, the political director of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO), was identified as the architect of the scheme, and he made a pact with the US Chamber of Commerce. Then corporate America turned on Trump and hundreds of major business leaders, many of whom had backed Trump’s candidacy and supported his policies, called on him to concede. Fox News host Laura Ingraham has suggested that the purpose of the right/ left alliance of the Chamber of Commerce and the AFL-CIO was to get rid of Trump and sweep pro-immigration Joe Biden into office in order to open the border to migrants for cheap labor, a benefit for large corporations, while the AFL-CIO would benefit from migrants becoming new members.

Here are some key quotes from Ball:

“There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans.” And, she later hinted that businesses were tacitly threatened by damage and violence from riots when she wrote, “The summer’s racial-justice protests had sent a signal to business owners too: the potential for economy-disrupting civil disorder.”

he revealed the goals that were achieved by the left: “Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears. They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction. After Election Day, they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result.”

Ball claimed that Fox News surprised everyone by calling Arizona for Biden on Election Day. On November 7, 2020, the election was called, not by states with certified ballot counts, but by the media, giving the perception that Biden had won the election. Anti-Trump leftist crowds were told to “stand down” instead of causing conflict. The stand-down order shows that leftist rioters and vandals can be turned ‘on’ and ‘off’ and are highly organized.

Ball stated that the racial-justice uprising sparked by George Floyd’s killing in May was not primarily a political move, although it was harnessed to influence the election through the threat of violent protests and that leftist activists began preparing mass protests if Trump tried to “steal” the election. More than 150 liberal groups joined the “Protect the Results” coalition that had a map listing 400 planned post-election demonstrations, to be activated via text message as soon as November 4. In a poll before Election Day, 75% of Americans voiced concern about violence.

The left used other intimidation tactics against GOP legislators from the swing state of Michigan, House Speaker Lee Chatfield and Senate majority leader Mike Shirkey, whom Trump invited to Washington on November 20th, to persuade them to declare the election void and appoint their own electors. The plan failed after leftists swarmed Chatfield and Shirkey at the airport as they arrived and departed. Before the Michigan lawmakers left DC, they met for a drink at the Trump hotel and a street artist projected their images onto the outside of the building along with the words THE WORLD IS WATCHING. Three former governors of Michigan and influential donors also pressured the lawmakers. A law professor at the University of Michigan wrote an article claiming that the meeting with the Republican lawmakers was inappropriate and should be investigated, a veiled threat that caused the Michigan leaders to bring attorneys with them to the meeting with the President.

The Michigan state canvassing board, before certifying the votes, had their livestream flooded with leftist activists who testified for hours with the message of respecting voters’ wishes and counting all votes, and the liberal activists also filled Twitter with their hashtag, #alleyesonmi. After that, the dominoes fell. Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and the rest of the states certified their electors.

On January 6, 2021, hundreds of thousands of Trump supporters rallied in DC and were surprised when they were virtually no counter-protesters. The activist left was “strenuously discouraging counter activity,” to avoid blame for any mayhem. Following the breach at the Capitol, Trump supporters have now been vilified as insurrectionists and terrorists.
