TUCKER CARLSON SUGGESTS HE KNOWS TRUMP’S HEART?

The greatest impediment one has to learning the truth is certainty one already knows it.

Tucker only implies, so we cannot be certain, but the implication seems clear.

Take a look at this very short video of Tucker Carlson making a commentary on President Trump regarding President Trump not placing his hand on a bible while he was being sworn in as President in 2025.

Tucker says that President Trump is “rejecting” the bible.

Has Carlson lost his mind? Is he a pretender? He claims to be a Christian. I do not; though I am a believer. Let’s examine Tucker’s implied accusation.

Just as we cannot know what is in Carlson’s heart, so can he not know what is in President Trump’s heart.

The bible does instruct us, though, to believe that we shall know a man by his fruit, or his actions, maybe.

But, well, let’s get back to Tucker’s assumption about President Trump. Carlson is not sure enough of himself, it seems, to accuse President Trump of any particular sin, but he insinuates something untoward when, referring to his accurate observation that President Trump did not, as is traditional, put his hand on the bible as he was being sworn into the office of the President, Carlson tells us, “…that should have been maybe a clue that we need to pause and think about what is this.” Carlson doesn’t tell us what he believes “this” is, but says that President Trump knows that the bible “is real,” yet, does not use the bible as prop.

And, dammit, it is so often a prop. We’ll get to that in just a minute.

Carlson then contrasts President Trump to past Presidents, pictured in the video with a hand on the bible during their inauguration, intimating that President Trump was doing something wrong by failing to follow the lead of tradition and those pictured, Presidents Clinton, Bush II, Obama and Biden. (Note: Doing what those guys do, Carlson suggests, is correct. There’s the bible as prop, as I mentioned.)

Many people who do not read the bible terribly well think that President Trump erred and they judge him as wrong.  Many also think he erred but give him a pass because they judge a man, not actions, when the man is “their guy.” (Liberals excel at this; conservatives should eschew it like boiling poison.)

Ok, let’s get to it. What does the bible say about oath-taking? Should a mere man claim that God be his witness? Hmmm…

In Matthew 5 Jesus, The Man, Himself, admonishes us. Let’s just see who’s right, President Trump or Tucker in his intimations.

34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne:

35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

For whatever reason, as President Trump did not place his hand on a prop-bible, he did not err in his actions. Scripture to says so.

Thank you for reading this,

By the way, I have watched much of Tucker Carlson and believe he is still siding with the Constitution, or at least conservatism most of the time. And I have watched President Trump and am pleased with much but VERY DISPLEASED with some. Real ID is part and parcel the end of financial freedom and the first part of social credit scoring and the end of liberty as we know it. REAL ID is “Papers, please,” without the please. Trump gets no pass as long as Real ID is in force.

I judge actions not men.

I believe history suggests that is a better course.
