“The issues which today confront the nation are clearly defined and so fundamental as to directly involve the very survival of the Republic. Are we going to preserve the religious base to our origin, our growth and our progress, or yield to the devious assaults of atheistic or other anti-religious forces? Are we going to maintain our present course toward State Socialism with Communism just beyond or reverse the present trend and regain our hold upon our heritage of liberty and freedom?” General Douglas MacArthur.
The evil doers destroying our republic (muslims, illegal aliens and paid anarchists) must themselves be destroyed by enforcing the law – especially as regards to deportation and the “anchor baby” myth. Regardless of what political party holds current “power”, the dirty money and election cheating must be investigated and if there is evidence, an indictment by a grand jury. Voters who cherish freedom and all the sacrifices made by those who came before us must defeat the Democrat Communist Party USA in the upcoming mid-terms from dog catcher to judges who are on the ballot. Election fraud is going to be our biggest enemy in the primaries.
On January 27, 2026, Newswithviews posted the link for my column Term Limits Constitutional Amendment for Congress Fails Again. In my column I covered not only term limits but also the Seventeenth Amendment. Much to my surprise, the next day a flood of comments were posted to X. Some very nasty comments.
Example: jurassicpork59 @RCrawfordauthor: “The only reason, & I mean the ONLY reason, Republican Nazi scum want to abolish the 17th Amendment is because they know they’ll lose the Senate as well as the House this Nov. The US Senate is hardly a democratic institution but this measure would make it even less democratic.”
Not surprising was the ignorance by many of those who posted a response to either my column or a posting by AZ, Rep. Oscar De Los Santos[1]: “WTF?? House Republicans just introduced a measure to REPEAL the 17th Amendment of the US Constitution. They want to ban the people from voting for our US Senators. Instead, they want the Legislature to appoint our Senators. WTF are they thinking?”
Well, hot shot Rep. De Los Santos, they are thinking about those who created CONgress and how much they hated democracy as a form of government vs a constitutional republic.[2]. Delegates from the states at the time agreed CONgress should be fairly balanced. A House for people to vote for their reps and the senate to represent the states. You graduated from Oxford and Yale?
In my column I gave readers a quick history regarding the Seventeenth Amendment and why the Founding Fathers and state delegates at the time strongly opposed U.S. Senators being elected by the people. The newly created government, CONgress, as was successfully argued was to have two chambers.
One would be the House of Representatives who would represent the people who voted for them. The Senate absolutely, 100% was to be chosen by state legislatures to represent the interests of the State. If that U.S. Senator did not follow through with what their state legislature wanted that would better their state or stop government tyranny and unconstitutional “laws” and regulations, that individual was recalled from the District of Criminals, DC, and a new U.S. Senator was chosen.
The bottom line: AZ (one of the worst election fraud states in the Union) Rep Oscar De Los Santos and the others who left ignorant responses, YOUR voice to be heard will NOT be taken away by abolishing the Seventeenth Amendment. You are represented by your U.S. House Representative which was the original intent of those who created CONgress.
I damn well guarantee you if there was no Seventeenth Amendment at the time, NAFTA (No American Factories Taking Applications; 2200 pages) would never have passed. And likely neither would GATT because U.S. Senators chosen by their state legislature would have voted for the best interests of the state which was the original intent of those who created CONgress. Treaties is a major consideration. NAFTA,GATT/WTO.
I know because I was part of the fight along with so many others to stop NAFTA and sure as the sun shines, we lost THOUSANDS of factories in less than two years. Americans who worked at American companies, some for decades, good pay and security, out of work by the thousands. Forced to move to big cities for work leaving behind small to medium towns where they grew up; grandparents and family businesses that employed so many shuttered. I drove through countless towns destroyed by NAFTA in a half dozen states a few years after NAFTA & GATT/WTO became a wrecking ball. Just awful what was done to our fellow Americans.
GATT/WTO – so important to a “new world order” was right behind NAFTA as planned by the shadow government and let me quote again from one of my older columns:
Is the Way Congress Votes Moral or Even Legal?, Oct. 1, 2002: “Guess how many members of the entire Congress read GATT? One! Former Senator Hank Brown (R-CO). He’s the only one who read that 28,000-page treaty and declared that in no way would he vote for it. He served one term and left the biggest whore house on the planet: CONgress.
“During the hearings on this monster, French financier Sir James Goldsmith testified in front of Earnest Hollings’ committee. He demonstrated that GATT would gut the American textile market. The following are some quotes from the Washington Times, December 6, 1993; they accurately reflect Sir Goldsmith’s statements during the hearings, which I watched on TV:
“Global free trade will force the poor of the rich countries to subsidize the rich in poor countries. What GATT means is that our national wealth, accumulated over centuries, will be transferred from a developed country like Britain to developing countries like Communist China, now building its first ocean going navy in 500 years.”
“China, with its 1.2 billion people, three Indochinese states with 900 million, the former Soviet republics with some 300 million, and many more can supply skilled labor for a fraction of Western costs. Five dollars in Communist China is the equivalent of a $100 wage in Europe.”
“It is quite amazing that GATT is sowing the seeds for global social upheaval and that it is not even the subject of debate in America….If the masses understood the truth about GATT, there would be blood in the streets of many capitals. A healthy national economy has to produce a large part of its own needs. It cannot simply import what it needs and use its labor force to provide services for other countries.”
“We have to rethink from top to bottom why we have elevated global free trade to the status of sacred cow, or moral dogma. It is a fatally flawed concept that will impoverish and destabilize the industrialized world while cruelly ravaging the Third World.” (End of quote.)
“Sir Goldsmith could see into the future, only it’s been far worse than he predicted.” That was 23 years ago. Globalism or the monster known as “free trade” has destroyed this country in so many ways besides loss of jobs in our most important job sectors: ag, industrial and manufacturing.
Many who left a comment “got it”:
“Want to Keep Your Freedom #Repeal_17th_Amendment – @Repeal_17th. Why Repealing 17th Amendment will help “We The People” 1913 Worst Year for America & “We The People” #MAGA http://devvy.com/abc 1966 #Vet #repeal17 #BonginoArmy”
Many years ago, Daniel H. Marchi sent me a manual he wrote (dated July 17, 2006: 17th Amendment…Rescind!!! I did not and do not know him but he did a superior job in explaining why the Framers of the Constitution gave the States Governments’ Legislatures the power to pick United States senators. It is available (used, paperback) on Amazon: “Marchi: a mathematician, wrote and programmed algorithm models. As a Algebraist, reduced Algebraic equations of engineers and Physicist Mathematical Model. As a programmer, programmed mentioned Mathematical Models.”
Rep. De Los Santos and those who posted on X (most are now gone as I’m told postings change constantly) who vomited up how their voices would no longer be heard if the Seventeenth Amendment was abolished have obviously never read history. They are ignorant pawns. If two sparks connected between De Los Santos ears, he’d electrocute himself.
The Records of the Federal Convention of 1787, Volumes 1, II & III, Yale University Press, New Haven and London. Huge tomes, Max Farrand; I purchased all three volumes and read them all. Vol. I: “It was well known that James Madison had taken full and careful notes of the proceedings in the Convention.”
To read those records is like being there in real time. You can also read them on-line here. Or if you prefer books, you can purchase from many sources.
Process for a Constitutional Amendment – Does NOT require a constitutional convention.
Constitutional Amendment Process – Office of the Federal Register – National Archives (I love that place):
“The authority to amend the Constitution of the United States is derived from Article V of the Constitution. After Congress proposes an amendment, the Archivist of the United States, who heads the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), is charged with responsibility for administering the ratification process under the provisions of 1 U.S.C. 106b. The Archivist has delegated many of the ministerial duties associated with this function to the Director of the Federal Register. Neither Article V of the Constitution nor section 106b describe the ratification process in detail. The Archivist and the Director of the Federal Register follow procedures and customs established by the Secretary of State, who performed these duties until 1950, and the Administrator of General Services, who served in this capacity until NARA assumed responsibility as an independent agency in 1985.
“The Constitution provides that an amendment may be proposed either by the Congress with a two-thirds majority vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate or by a constitutional convention called for by two-thirds of the State legislatures. None of the 27 amendments to the Constitution have been proposed by constitutional convention. The Congress proposes an amendment in the form of a joint resolution. Since the President does not have a constitutional role in the amendment process, the joint resolution does not go to the White House for signature or approval. The original document is forwarded directly to NARA’s Office of the Federal Register (OFR) for processing and publication.
“The OFR adds legislative history notes to the joint resolution and publishes it in slip law format. The OFR also assembles an information package for the States which includes formal “red-line” copies of the joint resolution, copies of the joint resolution in slip law format, and the statutory procedure for ratification under 1 U.S.C. 106b.
“The Archivist submits the proposed amendment to the States for their consideration by sending a letter of notification to each Governor along with the informational material prepared by the OFR. The Governors then formally submit the amendment to their State legislatures or the state calls for a convention, depending on what Congress has specified. In the past, some State legislatures have not waited to receive official notice before taking action on a proposed amendment.
“When a State ratifies a proposed amendment, it sends the Archivist an original or certified copy of the State action, which is immediately conveyed to the Director of the Federal Register. The OFR examines ratification documents for facial legal sufficiency and an authenticating signature. If the documents are found to be in good order, the Director acknowledges receipt and maintains custody of them. The OFR retains these documents until an amendment is adopted or fails, and then transfers the records to the National Archives for preservation.
“A proposed amendment becomes part of the Constitution as soon as it is ratified by three-fourths of the States (38 of 50 States). When the OFR verifies that it has received the required number of authenticated ratification documents, it drafts a formal proclamation for the Archivist to certify that the amendment is valid and has become part of the Constitution. This certification is published in the Federal Register and U.S. Statutes at Large and serves as official notice to the Congress and to the Nation that the amendment process has been completed.” Rest at link.
One other thing. It’s much easier for a state legislature to fire a U.S. Senator (no Seventeenth Amendment) than to unseat a U.S. Senator voted for by people who expect all the goodies promised by some incumbent U.S. Senator while the sovereign states are squashed like a bug, unfunded, unconstitutional debt slapped on us by bills the senate pushes through, not to mention more lawsuits. If your state rep or senator votes to keep a cockroach as a U.S. Senator it’s also easier to throw them out during the primaries.
AND, look at how much money is spent to elect U.S. Senators that would go away if the Seventeenth Amendment was abolished. Mind-blowing. Remember only 1/3rd of the U.S. Senate are up for reelection every six years. Think their donors don’t expect them to do what they want for all that money?
Open Secrets 2024: Senate races with the most money raised, all candidates. Texas: $199,959,917, Ohio: $141,124,654 and the list goes on. If U.S. Senators were chosen by their state legislature, that and all those nasty ads and BS debates would go away. Most certainly there would be the usual political mud fights between the two parties to choose their U.S. Senator but we must return to the original intent of those who wrote the Constitution.
Number one for the upcoming mid-term elections (begins with the primaries) is election fraud. We cannot, must not let the dirty traitors and crooks in the Democrat Communist Party USA steal more elections. The RNC and state wide GOP state leadership MUST do everything they can to get out the vote. They need to help county GOP committees when needed, but it’s up to those local county GOP committees to get their game plan together to get out the vote – that takes boots on the ground.
We MUST get a term limits for Congress amendment to the U.S. Constitution and abolish/repeal the Seventeenth Amendment. I’ve written about the destruction of the Seventeenth Amendment for over two decades and look at the killing of America while being sucked into the cancer called globalism. That also takes a game plan to get members of the GOP to adopt the resolution as soon as possible and get the process started.
The on-going attack on ICE and violence against them is almost beyond words, but well planned by the communists and muslims gaining ground.
“History fails to record a single precedent in which nations subject to moral decay have not passed into political and economic decline. There has been either a spiritual awakening to overcome the moral lapse or a progressive deterioration leading to ultimate national disaster.” General Douglas MacArthur

Footnotes:
[1] Rep. Oscar De Los Santos, JD, an LBGT “person” who vehemently supports mutilating children (trans cult), received a Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans in 2022. Back in 2012, in Florida he was a field organizer for liar and cheat, illegitimate president, Hussein Obama.
[2] Democracy or Republic, Which is It? The majority of the fools and buffoons attacking ICE agents and screaming and yelling about protecting ILLEGAL aliens don’t have a clue just like Rep. Oscar De Los Santos. Another useful Marxist puppet.
Important:
Beyond outrageous but remember what butcher communist Vladimir Lenin said: “Give us the child for 8 years and it will be a Bolshevik forever.”

Make no mistake: Dirty money is behind this anti-ICE insurrection and the paid puppets who run the operations.. Watch: Senator Kennedy on Who Really Controls the Democrat Party (Video)
FYI: Update on Term Limits – Old. Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy promised a term limits vote. We’re still waiting.
No, your U.S. Senator doesn’t listen to you (unless you’re famous or a big donor) and here’s an example from 2023:
Five-in-Six Americans Favor Constitutional Amendment on Term Limits for Members of Congress, March 21, 2023
“An in-depth study finds that five-in-six Americans favor a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on Members of Congress.
“While there has not been a vote on term limits in Congress since 1995, the issue was given new life during this year’s speakership negotiations when Speaker McCarthy guaranteed a vote on congressional term limits.”
There is a bill currently rotting in Congress for term limits fully explained in my column last week. November elections will see many new reps and senators as dozens have jumped ship from both parties. But, what are the chances that bill will come up for a vote this year no matter how many tens of millions of Americans want term limits? This from my column last week:
Bresnahan Joins Bipartisan Effort to Create Congressional Term Limits, April 24, 2025 – “WASHINGTON, DC: Today, U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) announced his cosponsorship of H.J.Res.12, an amendment to the U.S. Constitution to limit the number of terms a Member of Congress may serve… “This is not a career for me, but rather, a chance to give back to the community that raised me.”
“According to the Pew Research Center, an overwhelming majority of adults, 87%, favor limiting the number of terms that members of Congress are allowed to serve.” Here’s the Joint Resolution. Details here. 106 cosponsors (never thought it possible). That resolution has been rotting for nearly 10 months.”
Instead, time is spent on the anti-ICE insurrectionists, all Caucasians are racists, how many hundreds of billions of borrowed dollars are approved for this agency or that. It just sickens me.
Read Senator Dave McCormick Introduces Term Limits Resolution, April 17, 2025. Call your U.S. Rep and Senator and politely remind them of the upcoming primaries and we Demand the term limit bills get passed so the process can begin to amend the U.S. Constitution. If we do nothing, nothing gets done. A dear friend of mine in VA told me a few years ago he called his state rep about a bill and was told only 5 people called to tell their rep to kill the bill. 5.
