An undercover video by a group called Animal Outlook recently revealed the horrific treatment of chickens that are raised for meat. The ‘free range’ label is meaningless. Most chickens do not go outside, many are sick, and many cannot even walk because they are bred for large breasts that make them unable to support themselves. ‘Free range’ is not a legal requirement and only exists on labels to calm consumer concerns. Factory farming is unhealthy and cruel.
