What would you do if you were told to deny your faith?  What would you do?

What if this person asking was in a position of authority that you would be punished if you stood up for your faith?

Would you comply?

This happened yesterday to a young student attending  a Jr High at Katy ISD in Katy, Texas.

– Video below is an UPDATE to this article. It is the shameful response in our opinion, to the event, and is loaded with provably incorrect assertions. Would they call them “Common Place Assertions”? I certainly would. They are being used by all of these people, but are clear and blatant lies.

That is worse than myths. Myths are not commonly intentional subterfuge, but things believed that are not true. The existence of God in this situation is only as relevant as it being critical to establish that the teacher established a position on the matter of the existence of God. Doing so in a government funded taxpayer funded school, is a ciolation of the Establishment Clause of the Constitution.

The assignment was on fact, opinion or “commonplace assertion”.  Somehow from this lesson below …..this teacher took on the question of the existence of God.  If the students did not answer the question of If God is fact, opinion or commonplace assertion with her correct answer as commonplace assertion ; the children would be marked incorrect and their grades affected.

“This was the lesson today that the teacher played in class and expounded on. Why the heck they had to bring God into is beyond me. It was clearly the teacher pushing her agenda and was not a discussion. She repeatedly argued with the kids that God is a myth, that he can not be proven and pushed him to write such!!!!

That evening  Jordan attended the Katy ISD school board meeting to address the board.

“Today I was given an assignment in school that questioned my faith and told me that God was not real. Our teacher had started off saying that the assignment had been giving problems all day. We were asked to take a poll to say whether God is fact, opinion or a myth and she told anyone who said fact or opinion was wrong and God was only a myth,” Wooley told board members.

She stated her teacher “started telling kids they were completely wrong and that when kids argued we were told we would get in trouble. When I tried to argue, she told me to prove it, and I tried to reference things such as the Bible and stories I have read before from people who have died and went to heaven but came back and told their stories, and she told me both were just things people were doing to get attention.”

“I know it wasn’t just me who was affected by it. My friend, she went home and started crying. She was supposed to come with me but she didn’t know if she could” because she was so upset,”

Jordan went on to describe how she spoke with other students in the class who were marked down because they believe God is real, as well as compromises proposed by students to avoid rejecting their faith.

“Another student asked the teacher if we could put what we believe in the paper, and she said we could … but you would fail the paper if you do, I had known before that our schools aren’t really supposed to teach us much about religion or question religion. When I asked my teacher about it she said it doesn’t have anything to do with religion because the problem is just saying there is no God.”

The board was requested by Alton Frailey School Superintendent to not reply to the brave young lady (Delphi Technique to minimize her).  The board that has a deacon, a pastor and the superintendent himself that has video’s of him preaching to others.   The elected trustees can and should respond to the community as this why they were elected.

Earlier Jordon sent this text to her mom.

“Hey mom so in reading we were required to say that God is just a myth,” Jordan texted her mother shortly before 3 p.m.Monday. “I thought if a question was against our religion that we could put what we think is true but we got in trouble for saying He is true.” Jordan

“Wait what? Myth?” Chantel

“We had to deny God is real. Yeah, we had to say he was just a myth,” Jordan .
“You got in trouble?” Chantel .
“Yeah she told me I was wrong bc I put it was fact,” Jordan

“What did you say?” Chantel .
“I said he is real and she said that can’t be proven,” Jordan .
“And what happened?” Chantel

“I still put fact on my paper,” Jordan .

Jordan has stood up for us to follow her lead.  So what will you do?    It has happened and the board room was silent.   Minsters of the area have been silent.  Thanks to the Alternative Media, as well as the local FOX News affiliate with a tenacious reporter Andrea Watkins, we broke this story.

This goes much further than Christian faith.  This affects all forms of faith and beliefs.   From  Christians, Muslims Buddhist ect.  all were asked that day to deny their creator.

What would you do if your faith was tested and you were asked to deny your creator no matter what religion you are that is protected under the Second Amendment?

As evidenced by the assignment itself, which has several falsehoods perpetuated by a mostly ignorant educational system, and contrary to popular belief, George Washington was not the first President under the first Constitution which WAS the Articles of Confederation, and in fact Washington can only be considered the first President under the Federalist Constitution. But even in this, the assignment asserts there is only 1 Constitution, which there is now at least 3 that we know of. How are we to expect that our children will ever advance if we give them incorrect regurgitated authoritarian controlled “Tax Exempt Foundation manipulated” information? How are they to know our true history and learn from it? These are the myths, the things they call facts nowadays. This is what we here at RTR exist to correct. So whenever someone tells you that George was the first, ask them….First what? And under what? If it were not for the actions of John Hanson, who by the way is suspected of having been black, we would very well possibly still be overtly ruled by the British Military. He held things together when everyone else fled. Perhaps I should be re-educating those who place historical content into our children’s lessons.

Half Hearted Response from the School

Dear West Memorial Junior High Parents, Guardians and Staff,

As you may be aware, several media outlets have expressed interest in a story concerning a recent classroom activity in one of our seventh grade classes. Below is information about that activity and how it has been addressed. This information has been shared with the media as well. If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to contact us. Yesterday, October 26, at the end of the school day, two West Memorial Junior High parents contacted the school’s principal to share their concern over a classroom activity that they felt questioned students’ religious beliefs. The school principal immediately responded to the parents by informing them that she would investigate and meet with the teacher the following morning. At the conclusion of the investigation today, the principal determined that the classroom activity included an item that was unnecessary for achieving the instructional standard. The activity, which was intended to encourage critical thinking skills and dialogue by engaging students in an exercise wherein they identified statements as fact, opinion, or common assertion was not intended to question or challenge any student’s religious beliefs as reported by some media outlets. The teacher is distraught by this incident, as some commentary has gone as far as to vilify her without knowing her, her Christian faith, or the context of the classroom activity. Still, this does not excuse the fact that this ungraded activity was ill-conceived and because of that, its intent had been misconstrued. As a result, the activity will no longer be used by the school, and the teacher has been advised and reprimanded.

The school regrets any misconceptions that may have resulted from this teacher-developed classroom activity and assures its school community that the religious beliefs of all students and staff are welcomed and valued at West Memorial Junior High.

Should media be on campus tomorrow during arrival or dismissal, rest assured there will be additional patrols on site to aide with traffic control and ensure the safety and security of students and staff. OUR RESPONSE TO THE SCHOOL REGARDING THEIR ANNOUNCEMENT

Folks, are there rogue Media entities out there that should require extra protection from the school? I was always under the impression that media is the 4th estate of government which is vital to the public being informed and to give transparency to other entities both governmental and corporate.

No real apology either. And they are now claiming that the teacher is a Christian, who by her own admittance, denies God is real.

A New form of Christianity void of belief in God…..now if the school was Pinocchio, we would have lost an eye on that one…..

And then enter DRUDGE REPORT – Yeah!
