Court allows FBI to torture Americans abroad

Amir Meshal alleges he was detained without due process and tortured by the FBI while traveling in Africa. He was held for about 4 months, questioned 30 times, and then just released, 80 pounds lighter, without so much as an apology. The ACLU tried to bring his case to court to help get protections in place for American citizens traveling abroad, against their own government, but the court just threw out the ACLU’s case.
