As you know Aramaic evolved over time from Ancient (Imperial or Old Aramaic) into Middle Aramic, then Neo-Aramaic and Syriac which is not at all the language of Jesus.

The belief that the Biblical texts were originally written in Greek – if mistaken – leads to incorrect translations of the words of Jesus as he spoke to his disciples.

I think you may find this of some merit as it presents greater logic in the intent of the Lord’s Prayer…
