Democrat Rips Party, Joins Republicans

One elected Democrat in a deep blue state has announced that he is fed up with the socialism of the Democrat Party, and has decided to join the Republicans.
North Las Vegas Mayor John Lee announced on Fox & Friends on July 13 that he is switching to the Republican Party in response to the Democrats’ descent into socialism. According to reporting from 8 News Now, many of the newly elected Democrats in Nevada are affiliated with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).
In his announcement, Mayor Lee stated that the Democrat Party’s “elitist” and “socialist” platform is not one he “can stand with anymore.”
