Mitch McConnell just referred to Donald Trump by this new nickname in a Senate GOP meeting that certainly has Nikki Haley pulling her hair out.

In addition to the tsunami of calls for her to drop out already, this is just another blow to any confidence in her wavering route to success.

After exit polling showed Nikki Haley’s New Hampshire support came from unregistered Republicans, it shouldn’t be a surprise that her base has essentially become entirely built from Democrats, Wall Street execs, and never-Trumpers.

Just last month, Donald Trump became the first Republican in a primary election to win the Iowa caucus and New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation primary since 1976.

The former president dominated the Iowa caucus, boasting a strong 30 point victory over the second place challenger, Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida.

In the New Hampshire primary where pollsters claimed the race was a 50/50 split, Trump walked away unscathed, carrying the state by 11 points over Haley.

Following these back-to-back successes, many pundits and political analysts have agreed to a single consensus – Donald Trump has sealed the GOP nomination.

Hillary Clinton was even forced to acknowledge the reality of the situation.

Clinton posted to X saying, “after the Republican primary in New Hampshire, the choice for November is becoming clearer than ever. Will you choose expanding freedom and strengthening democracy with Biden, or more abortion bans and election denialism with Trump?”

“I say: Four more years of progress,” continued the failed 2016 Democrat Presidential Nominee.

As devastating as this consensus has been to the Haley campaign, it was when Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell stepped in to comment that put to bed any talk of Trump losing the nomination.

During a caucus meeting, the Senate GOP leader allegedly referred to Trump as “the nominee.”

In an article by Punchbowl News, the news outlet reported, “McConnell referred to Trump as ‘the nominee’ and noted the former President wants to run his 2024 campaign centered on immigration.”

And the GOP leader said, “we don’t want to do anything to undermine him,” the outlet continued.

“We’re in a quandary,” added Mitch McConnell.

McConnell has a record of being a real thorn in Trump’s side for years.

The Senate Minority Leader is not only referring to Trump as “the nominee,” but he is also adjusting their agenda in order to work with that inevitable result.

This is clear evidence that Nikki Haley has zero path to victory in 2024.

Despite all of the evidence and the endless calls for her to just acknowledge this clear fact, she has chosen to bury her head in the sand.

After her decisive double-digit defeat in New Hampshire, she continued to greet supporters with “what a great night.”

Nikki Haley plans to face Donald Trump in her home state of South Carolina on February 24, a state where Donald Trump is leading by over 30 points.
