September 28 — Events in the last week have added to the voluminous evidence that the investigation into allegations of “Russian Meddling and Trump Collusion” in the 2016 election is part of a coup designed to remove the President from office, to illegally overturn the voters decision to elect him.  As reported for the last two years in this newspaper and on the website of LaRouchePAC, the coup is being run by leading elements of British imperial intelligence, in collaboration with former intelligence operatives of the Obama administration centered around former CIA chief John Brennan and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.  Their efforts have been aided by a network of corrupt officials in the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI, with full backing by the so-called Mainstream Media.

The latest escalation in this campaign was a report in the {New York Times} on September 21 that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein raised the possibility of secretly recording conversations with Trump, to be used to justify using the 25th Amendment to remove him from office.  The report cited a memo of a meeting in May 2017 of DOJ/FBI officials, written by then-acting Director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, who had been part of the core group in the FBI running the ongoing investigation into the fraudulent charges of Trump-Russia connections.

Some suggest that the Times article was written to provoke Trump to fire Rosenstein, which would be used by Democrats to ride the backlash against the firing, to enhance their chances to take back the Congress in the November 6 mid-term elections.  This was spelled out in a {Wall Street Journal} (WSJ) editorial on September 23, which described the Times article as “Trump-baiting so he’ll overreact.”  Other reports suggest that Rosenstein was being sarcastic, in responding to what was a proposal from McCabe to record the President, when he asked, “What do you want me to do, Andy, wire the president?”

McCabe’s memo also reported that Rosenstein said he might be able to convince General John Kelly, who was then Secretary of Homeland Security and later Trump’s chief of staff, and Attorney General Sessions, to support using the 25th Amendment to remove Trump.  For his part, Rosenstein issued a denial, saying the story “is inaccurate and factually incorrect.  I will not further comment on a story based on anonymous sources who are obviously biased against the department and are advancing their own personal agenda.  But let me be clear about this: Based on my personal dealings with the president, there is no basis to invoke the 25th Amendment.”

As a new level of anti-Trump media frenzy was triggered by the story, speculation was rife that Rosenstein would either resign, or be fired.  As of the deadline for this story, neither has happened.  Rosenstein’s meeting with Kelly at the White House on September 21 was inconclusive, and plans for a Trump-Rosenstein meeting on September 27 were postponed until next week.  White House sources are reported to be saying that Trump will likely wait until after the mid-term elections before he takes any action on Rosenstein’s status.

Whether the WSJ’s editors are correct or not about the intent of the {New York Times}, the content of the article conforms with what is known about the regime change coup, in which Rosenstein and McCabe have been key players.  Rosenstein has been at the center since he wrote the memo cited by Trump to justify his firing of FBI Director Comey.  Rosenstein’s memo was written on May 8, 2017.  The next day, Trump fired Comey, referring directly to Rosenstein’s memo.  The usual “anonymous sources” report that Rosenstein was dismayed by Trump’s use of his memo.  On May 17,  Rosenstein appointed legal hitman and former FBI Director Robert Mueller as special counsel, to head the assault on Trump.  It is thought that sometime between those dates, the meeting reported by McCabe’s memos took place.  Whether Rosenstein was being sarcastic or not when he responded to McCabe’s suggestions, it rings true to the whole sequence of events involving McCabe and the unfolding of the coup attempt.

According to text messages between leading FBI officials, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, meetings in the summer of 2016 to plan an “insurance policy” to remove Trump should be win the elections were held in “Andy’s office.”  Further, McCabe was fired when the DOJ Inspector General revealed that he mislead investigators in a probe of leaks from the department.  This is currently a subject of a grand jury proceeding in Washington, which could lead to criminal indictments.

In speaking of this, Trump told a rally in Springfield, Missouri the night the Times article appeared, “You see what’s happening at the FBI, they’re all gone, they’re all gone.  But there’s a lingering stench and we’re going to get rid of that, too.”

DECLASSIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS MUST PROCEED

The increased pace of events may have been pushed forward by Trump’s order, on September 17, to declassify multiple documents related to FBI-DOJ actions in support of the coup.  Three days before Trump issued the declassification order, Rosenstein called on him, to present objections from the DOJ and from two foreign governments, to prevent the declassification from occurring.  Not surprisingly, the two governments protesting are the British and Australian governments.  The British government was particularly upset, expressing “grave concerns” over documents reporting on conversations between U.S. law enforcement officials (DOJ and FBI) and Christopher Steele, the author of the fairy tales about Putin’s blackmailing of Trump, and Russian activities to “meddle” in the election on his behalf.  Among Steele’s fabricated allegations is that Trump volunteer official, Carter Page, was a “back channel” to the Kremlin.

Steele’s dossier was the major exhibit cited by the DOJ and FBI in the filing before the FISA secret court in October 2016, to obtain a warrant to spy on Page and, by extension, the Trump campaign.  The dossier was paid for by the Clinton campaign, and Steele was, for a time, on the FBI payroll.  The release of the classified documents related to the FISA warrant will undoubtedly provide more details on the fraud perpetrated in the filing.  Rosenstein and McCabe were among DOJ/FBI officials who signed the fourth application to the FISA court on Page.

Further, it is worth asking why the British government is so concerned over Steele’s role?  According to the official story, Steele retired from MI6, as a top official dealing with Russia in 2009, seven years before he began work on his anti-Trump memos.  Why would that be an issue for the U.K. government today?  As we have reported, it is not just Steele who is implicated in the coup, but his former boss, Sir Richard Dearlove, who was instrumental in launching the war against Iraq in in 2003, based on another fraudulent dossier prepared by British intelligence; and a team of long-standing operatives with direct ties to both MI6 and U.S. intelligence, that is, the FBI and CIA.

These include the shadowy “professor” Joseph Mifsud, who planted the “Russian hacking” story on minor Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos; Stefan Halper, who was involved in the set-up of both Page and Papadopoulos; and Alexander Downer, the former Australian High Commissioner to the U.K., who played a leading role in setting up the FBI Get Trump task force in July 2016, following his report of a “chance encounter” at a bar with Papadopoulos.  As Papdopoulos recently explained to Fox News, this was not a chance encounter, and that Downer’s report on the meeting — that it was about Papadopoulos spilling his gut about Russian hacking — was a lie!

All of these meetings occurred in London, and according to Papdopoulos, it is inconceivable that relevant British intel agencies were not involved in them.

The British are particularly vulnerable to the full truth coming out, as it will expose the continuing role they are playing to run U.S. policy today.  In addition to using Russiagate to sabotage Trump’s desire to improve relations with Russia and China, in a rejection of the geopolitical doctrines imposed by the British empire, the British lies about the Skripal affair, and alleged use of chemical weapons in Syria by the Assad regime, are designed to heighten tension between the U.S. and Russia, even at the risk of leading to nuclear war.

SHUT DOWN THE COUP

In the last days, an increasing number of voices have joined with LaRouchePAC in identifying Russiagate as a coup, which must be shut down.  In addition to columnist and former presidential adviser Pat Buchanan, who has been outspoken against the unconstitutional activities of Mueller, Sen. Lindsey Graham on September 23 called for a new special counsel to investigate what he described as a “bureaucratic coup” against Trump, being run by his enemies.

As to the discussion of using the 25th Amendment, which previously was raised in an “anonymous” {New York Times} op ed on September 5, by a self-identified “Trump administration official” working with an internal “resistance” network, the McCabe memo provoked an especially sharp response from constitutional expert Alan Dershowitz.  He said that applying the 25th Amendment, as suggested in the McCabe memo, “would constitute an unlawful coup, a coup d’etat….It would be unconstitutional, it would be illegal, and nobody should be talking about it.”  It was designed, he continued, to address a situation when a president is physically incapacitated, and was not intended for use “against a president who you disagree with, or you think is creating havoc in the White House.”

That is what elections are for, he concluded.  He called for a full investigation of the events behind the McCabe memos, including interrogations of those involved.

With the mid-term elections a little more than six weeks away, American voters can insure the defeat of the British imperial geopoliticians and their treacherous American allies, by voting against their coup, supporting the president in his fight against the “witch hunt”, and in his desire to overturn the dangerous legacy of Bush and Obama.  The future of their country, and all of mankind, depends on defeating this coup attempt, freeing the President to bring the U.S. into the New Paradigm, in alliance with Russia, China and India, among others.
