Michelle Obama 2024 – Film Review
Guest post by Roger Stone
Meticulous research is filmmaker Joel Gilbert’s forte. That is why I was keen on seeing Gilbert’s new film, Michelle Obama 2024: Her Real Life Story and Plan for Power. I have long believed that Michelle Obama will be the Democratic Party’s surprise pick in 2024.
Anyone who doubts the Obamas’ control of party machinery only has to see the video of Barack Obama’s return to the White House in April of this year. You could even watch it with the sound turned off and understand that the Obamas rule the roost. I am not sure there has ever been a moment in presidential history more pathetic than when President Joe Biden tapped Barack on the shoulder trying to get his attention, and Barack blew him off.
Now having seen Michelle Obama 2024, I am pleased to say that Gilbert lives up to his reputation for dogged, shoe leather research. In fact, he may be the one person in the conservative media with more chutzpah than me. He goes places and talks to people even I would be hesitant to address. Michelle’s hairdresser? Michelle’s Princeton thesis advisor? Michelle’s mother? My goodness!
A shrewd observer of the American political scene, Gilbert provides enough serious, solid, deeply-researched information to confirm my belief that Michelle will be the Democratic Party candidate in 2024. Let’s face it. Who else do they have? Joe? Kamala? Gavin Newsom? Mayor Pete?
Gilbert also provides enough information to stop Michelle in her tracks. This is best kind of oppo research. Those who have seen Gilbert’s other work know that he can make even the most serious of subjects—and frightening of scenarios—entertaining, even funny. I worked with Gilbert on his blockbuster 2016 short film about Bill Clinton’s Black son, Banished: The Untold Story of Danney Williams, that got 38 millions views. It was so effective it may have been the main reason the DOJ came after me and the Democrats are obsessed with me still today.
As Gilbert’s new film shows, the Obamas have been grooming Michelle for a presidential run since at least 2016. The giveaway is that she is following the trajectory her husband did, if not in the exact same order: first the best-selling memoir, then the keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention, and now her role as founder of a voter registration project called “When We All Vote.”
As something of a style maven myself, I was most entertained by Gilbert’s documentation of Michelle’s de-evolution on the fashion front in Michelle Obama 2024. While still a teenager, Michelle was going to a toney Chicago stylist to get her hair done. Her allegedly “working-class” parents had money enough to keep her dressed in the latest of styles as well.
Once the Obamas hit big money with Barack’s ascent to the Senate and the sale of his ghost-written books, Michelle went all in and emerged as fashionista extraordinaire. Hell, she made more magazine covers during that period than Casey Anthony and Amanda Knox combined.
In late 2007, Michelle put on the brakes to manipulate voters. When the early polls showed that her husband was losing the Black female vote to Hillary, the Obama camp decided that Michelle had to become just another working mom from the South Side of Chicago. The transformation is hysterical. Here she is one day wearing designer fashions, and the next day she looks like she pulled her clothes off the rack at the local Salvation Army store for a five dollar donation.
The change in Michelle’s speech patterns to manipulate Black voters is even more stunning as depicted in Gilbert’s film. She had been accused of “speaking white” since she was a little girl. Well those days were over. On the 2008 campaign trail she was now dropping the “g” off the end of her words and “talking Black” almost as unconvincingly as Hillary Clinton. Once Obama was elected, Michelle dropped all the pretense and reverted to her fashionista self and normal Valley girl speech pattern.
All her life, Michelle Obama 2024 shows us, Michelle tried to fit in with the White Chicago elites. As a planning commissioner under Mayor Daley and then as an executive with the University of Chicago Medical Center, she did her best to make life safe and secure for affluent Chicago whites. They paid her well to help drive blacks out of their near north side housing projects and then hired Michelle to lead the effort to bus them away from U of C’s ER, denying them access to good health care. All her life, in fact, when not running from everyday black people, Michelle was exploiting them. Much of this came as news to me as it will to the viewer of this revealing political documentary.
Viewers of Michelle Obama 2024 will also learn about Michelle’s psychological dark side.
Her husband got elected promising to be a racial healer. He was too much of a coward to accomplish that. Michelle cannot even fake an interest in healing. Gilbert exposes the several occasions in which Michelle went full Jussie Smollett on the American public, perpetrating two well documented race hoaxes. Pretending to “speak Black” is one thing. Faking hate crimes is another. This woman should be kept as far from the White House as possible.
As the marketing slogan of Gilbert’s new movie reminds us, “Only the truth can stop her.” To learn that truth, I highly recommend Michelle Obama 2024, watch Livestream or get the DVD on SalemNow.
