AZPFAF 2015Remi Kanazi, Palestinian-American Poet to Perform at AZPFAF in Phoenix


Remi Kanazi is a poet and writer based in New York City. He is the the son of Palestinian refugees who fled Palestine before the state of Israel was established in 1948. He is the author of the newly released collection of poetry, Before the Next Bomb Drops: Rising Up From Brooklyn to Palestine.

We Hold These Truths is pleased to announce that we are one of the sponsors for the upcoming Arizona Palestine Film and Arts Festival (AZPFAF) event in Tempe, AZ on Nov. 13, 2015, featuring Remi Kanazi, a Palestinian-American, performance poet and human rights activist. Volunteers in the Phoenix area, who are working for peace and justice for Palestinians. have gathered together to entertain and educate their fellow Arizonans about the issue.
