Wild Pastures works with highly principled farmers in the USA raising their animals on lush pastures – the way nature intended. Our farmers value raising healthy, happy animals in a way that is humane, sustainable, and protects and restores the environment.
Pasture-Centric
Our pasture-raised animals are part of a natural ecosystem. Our farmers use rotational grazing practices that mimic nature. Therefore, we do not need to use synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, hormones, or antibiotics. This beautiful process doesn’t require the external resources required with environmentally-depleting conventional farming.
Domestically Sourced
Many other providers source their meats from far outside of the United States. Instead of getting cheap meat from questionable sources and paying a premium on freight to bring it halfway across the world, we work closely with family farmers in the USA. This is a far more beneficial model for local farmers, our members, and the planet.
Whole Use, Zero Waste
In order to keep costs down we make every effort to optimize the use of the entire animal. We distribute various cuts evenly across our member base. But have no fear, we don’t include organs in your share and you will still receive cuts you know and love!

Could we charge a premium for the quality of meat we provide? Absolutely. However, we wholeheartedly believe that nourishing, sustainable, pasture-raised meats are both better for our health and the environment. We want to help transform the meat industry. This means turning away from unsustainable practices which result in a nutritionally poor product toward a pasture-centric approach that provides nourishing food and helps restore the land.

The person they hired to narrate the commercial is a mush mouth… her hyper vocal style marrs the words it ends up sounding like PASTURIZED MEAT …every time she says it. FYI
Yes, I’d noticed that, so I took a few minutes and did some audio processing that seems to help make her much clearer on those ‘pasturized’ parts. 🙂
I liked that commercial. In fact it’s one of my favorites as opposed to that annoying, super played, snake oil “Taheebo Tea Club” commercial.
Taheebo is a wonderful brew.
