“Blind loyalty is a very dangerous path to follow. I have never once said I don’t support our troops. What I have said is that what Bush is doing is an unconstitutional use of our military. His phony ‘nation building’ will never bring “democracy to Iraq,” even if that were a desirable form of government, which it is not.
“Nation building is and always has been a loser. Over the past decade, Clinton and Bush have unconstitutionally deployed our military and unconstitutionally spent hundreds of billions of borrowed dollars for “nation building.” Every single one of these forays, driven by lust for power and to cement a one world order, has met with dismal failure. There’s been no stable self-sustaining nations come out of Bosnia, Somalia, Kosovo, Haiti, Afghanistan or Iraq and there never will be. Right now, over in Iraq, the cry is the same old one, “Yankee go home.”
That is an excerpt from my Nov. 15, 2004 column. The blood of 4, 492 U.S. service members killed in Iraq. 32, 292 wounded. TRILLIONS of borrowed dollars wasted when the U.S. invaded Iraq and Afghanistan. There were no weapons of mass destruction. Like The Bay of Tonkin[1], it was a heinous lie. By March 2023, We the People had been raped for obscene amounts of BORROWED money (Emphasis mine):
$1.79 trillion – The total spent by the US on the wars in Iraq and Syria, according to estimates published by the Costs of War project. This figure includes Pentagon and State Department spending, veterans’ care and the interest on debt financing the conflicts.
$2.89 trillion – Total US spending when including projected veterans’ care through to 2050.
125 – The number of days the US campaign plan had envisaged it would take to destroy Iraqi forces and topple Saddam Hussein’s regime. 8 – The number of years the war lasted.
Article 1, Section. 8, Clause 11 of the U.S. Constitution. Congress’ authority: To declare war. Not a president, Art. 2, Section 2, U.S. Constitution: The President shall be commander in chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the militia of the several states, when called into the actual service of the United States;
Joint Address to Congress Leading to a Declaration of War Against Japan (1941)
“On December 8, 1941, the day after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, President Franklin Roosevelt delivered this “Day of Infamy Speech.” Immediately afterward, Congress declared war, and the United States entered World War II.”
“At the time of Bush’s invasion of Iraq, CFR point dog in the House, Rep. Henry Hyde, [R-Il] stated that “declaring war is anachronistic, it isn’t done anymore…” During the same time period, darling of the deaf, dumb and blind “liberals,” Ranking Minority Member Tom Lantos, [D-Ca] called the declaration of war “frivolous and mischievous.” On January 7, 1999, former Clinton Secretary of Labor, Robert Reich said, “…when the president decides to go to war, he no longer needs a declaration of war from Congress.” That’s not what the Constitution quite clearly states.
20 years in Afghanistan with no formal declaration of war by Congress. Thousands more of our military dead, thousands injured; too many who will never recover mentally. And, still the U.S. continues to shove our military on Middle Eastern countries who do not want us there. Their religious groups have been fighting each other for a thousand years.
Oh, and by the way, more BORROWED money (OUR purse is now overdrawn $34.2 TRILLION dollars): Biden Regime and International Donors Send $80 Million Every 2 Weeks to Taliban-Controlled Afghanistan Amidst Reports of Funds Being Misappropriated, Says Government Watchdog, Nov. 1, 2023. ALL spending must originate in the U.S. House. Thank you, Republicans and Democrats.
Jan. 28, 2024, 3 American service members were killed (RIP), more than 40 seriously wounded from a drone strike at what’s called Tower 22 located in Jordan, northeast right near the Syrian border. Sitting ducks in an extremely remote area. Of course, Iran’s UN spokes mouth said Iran “had no connection and had nothing to do with the attack on the U.S. base.”
The US has been attacked repeatedly over there by Iranian proxies. Houthis terrorists in poor Yemen (those people have suffered so horribly for geo-political games and big money) are also funded by Iran.
Despite all the conspiracy theories career criminal, Joe Biden, won the 2020 election, that imposter carrying out the agenda of his masters was lackadaisical about our military killed. The powerful cabal of war mongers whose names are kept out of the media hate Donald Trump but love the bomb-bomb-bomb Iran crowd. Nikki Haley calls for strikes on Iran’s resources and when asked if it would risk escalating a war, she responds: “It’s not starting war, it’s actually preventing war”, Jan. 29, 2024; “We’ve Got to Do This Immediately!” – Warhawk Nikki Haley Says US Should Strike and Kill Iranian Leaders Inside Their Country (VIDEO), Jan. 30, 2024. That from a wannabe president who couldn’t even register for Nevada’s caucus properly coming up so all the delegates (26) go to Trump.
Nothing like telling your enemy how and when you’re going to strike. And those Mullahs who control Iran will be sure to make themselves available to get blown up. And while attacks continue, Biden goes off on another vacation or election events to sniff little girl’s hair. Meanwhile, the ‘Perfumed Princes of the Pentagon’ as the late, great Colonel David Hackworth used to call the JCS (Joint Chiefs of Staff) team is busy trying to find their butts with two hands worrying about climate change. Did Iranian Agent Serving As Pentagon Chief Of Staff Cause Death Of 3 Soldiers?, Feb. 3, 2024
Not to worry, mentally gone Biden’s minions decided to let the enemy know what’s coming so they could get out of the way:
High-Ranking Iranian Intelligence and Military Officials Involved in Deadly Attack on US Troops Flee Region After Biden Telegraphs Friday’s US Strikes in Middle East, Feb. 3, 2024: “Biden gave key Iranian military officials a warning before the US conducted airstrikes in Iraq and Syria so they were able to safely flee the region just in time.” // Defense Experts: Did Biden give Iranian proxies too much time to prepare for retaliatory strikes?, Feb. 3, 2024: “Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Middle East Simone Ledeen told the Daily Caller News Foundation she believes the delayed response was intentional because the Biden administration doesn’t want to strike Iran and its allies too harshly. The Biden administration has been vocal that it wants to avoid a war with Iran or broader conflict in the Middle East.”
Well, there you go. Don’t be harsh with the enemy. Biden won’t hit Iran for killing three Americans — he helped the mullahs do it (Worth the time to read)
Here’s a hint, not for old Joe since he’s not there mentally: Cut off the head. Parasites feed off the host. Let me go back in time:
From my July 27, 2004 column: “On the morning of April 20, 1986, Americans woke up to the news that Air Force F-111’s and other support aircraft had carried out a full scale raid on Moamaar Khadafy in Libya. Why did Ronald Reagan order this precision bombing of Tripoli? A series of telex messages had been intercepted from Libya’s East Berlin embassy right before and after a disco was bombed in West Berlin on April 5, 1986. Based on hard intelligence, Reagan cited “irrefutable” evidence that Libyan leader Moammar Khadafy was the brains behind the bombing and the decision was made to strike back.
“This act of cowardice by terrorists killed two people, including an American GI; hundreds were wounded, including 50 to 60 Americans. Once Reagan was absolutely certain beyond a shadow of a doubt that Libya was responsible for this unprovoked act which led to the murder and injury of Americans, he acted without hesitation, saying, “I warned that there should be no place on earth where terrorists can rest and train and practice their deadly skills. I meant it. I said that we would act with others, if possible, and alone if necessary to ensure that terrorists have no sanctuary anywhere. Tonight, we have.” We did act alone; France wouldn’t even allow our aircraft to fly over their air space.
“The guidelines for this mission were crystal clear: There should be minimal risk to pilots to reduce any chance of our own becoming POWs. The targets would be military, civilians would be spared as much as possible, but there was no mistake: Go for the kill and send a very clear and unequivocal message to anyone who dare harm our own. There was no warning to we the people or Khadafy and that’s the way it should be. If the proof is there, our military go, get the job done and come home. We have an indisputable right to strike quickly and decisively against anyone who hurts US.
“We did not invade that country and begin the process of destroying the culture of the indigenous population by forcing “democracy” on them. Following our right to retaliate against any nation that kills or harms our own, Reagan did not engage in an endless and deceitful mission to “rebuild” Libya. Americans were not fleeced to the tune of tens and tens of billions of dollars to provide “humanitarian aid,” build new schools or become friends with an enemy nation – a certain recipe for failure. It is not our responsibility or duty to “win the hearts and minds” of any foreign country or their people to fight some endless “war on terrorism.” 7-minute video – President Reagan’s Address to the Nation on the bombing of Libya, April 14, 1986
While Moammar Khadafy wasn’t killed, he got the message. But, the US couldn’t keep it’s nose out of more conflict and secret goings-on: Hillary Clinton’s Benghazi Debacle: Arming Jihadists in Libya . . . and Syria, August 2, 2012: “As U.S. armed forces attack ISIS in Libya, WikiLeaks is poised to remind us that ISIS is in Libya — indeed, that ISIS is ISIS — thanks to disastrous policies championed by Hillary Clinton as President Obama’s secretary of state. Also raised, yet again, is the specter of Mrs. Clinton’s lying to Congress and the American people — this time regarding a matter some of us have been trying for years to get answers about: What mission was so important the United States kept personnel in the jihadist hellhole of Benghazi in 2012?
“Specifically, did that mission involve arming the Syrian “rebels” — including al-Qaeda and forces that became ISIS — just as, at Mrs. Clinton’s urging, our government had armed Libyan “rebels” (again, jihadists) to catastrophic effect?
“It has been less than two weeks since WikiLeaks rocked the Clinton campaign on the eve of the Democratic convention by leaking hacked e-mails illuminating DNC efforts to rig the nomination chase in Clinton’s favor. Now the organization’s founder, Julian Assange, has announced that WikiLeaks is soon to publish highly sensitive government e-mails that demonstrate Hillary Clinton’s key participation in efforts to arm jihadists in Syria. Just as in Libya, where Mrs. Clinton championed the strategy of arming Islamist “rebels,” the Syrian “rebels” who ultimately received weapons included the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda, and ISIS.”
That career criminal *itch should have gone to a federal cage a long time ago. If you have not seen the movie, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers Of Benghazi, it is a must watch. Truth matters. You can watch that superb (but sickening) movie free on Pluto TV here. The last time I went to a movie theater was in 2012 to watch ARGO which won an Academy Award for Best Picture of the Year. A true story that shocked me. A true story kept from the public for more than 20 years. I can’t recommend highly enough it is a must watch, factual account of the Iranian hostage crisis. Our embassy people held hostage for 444 days while Jimmy Carter floundered around. An amazing chain of events and we owed a huge thank you to the Canadian government at the time.
Oh, but Syria is such an important ‘national security’ country, we’re over there bombing away and the Brits have joined in. NO QUESTION Iran has been funding vicious murderers like Hezbolla, ISIS, Hamas, the Taliban for decades. And, once again, we have three dead service members – FOR WHAT? Iran is the bank for funding terrorism all over the Middle East. So the US should make sure Iran has plenty of money:
While I despise rent-boy, Sen. Lindsay Graham, he is right on this: Biden’s $90 Billion Bailout to Tehran, April 28, 2021, United States Senate Committee on the Budget. But, no deal, Lindsay.
There is a long and sordid history regarding the US and Iran. Tehran university students in 1971.
The Tehran Twist: The Tehran jet-set entertaining themselves with rock and roll music in the early 1960s.
Then came the Mullahs with their barbaric, putrid Sharia Law. Women forced to dress like mummies and treated like chattel.
The good news is there’s a growing opposition by women over there deliberately shedding those tents and demanding equal treatment. The younger generations are in a cold-revolution over there right now. Just like most people on this planet, they’re sick and tired of constant war and conflicts. Iran’s Disenchanted Youth: Mullah Election Tactics, Jan. 21, 2004, “In an era where the Iranian regime‘s legitimacy dwindles, a crucial transformation is underway, led by the nation’s youth. The criminal mullahs, once revered as the guardians of faith, are now perceived as mere embodiments of corruption and deceit. This shift in perception among Iran’s youth is not just a passing phase; it’s a profound and irreversible societal change.”
The key is getting rid of the Mullahs: Iran: The End for Mullahs in Sight. However, it won’t come without spilling of blood in Iran, quoting from the piece above, “The price tag to put an end to this “game,” however, was the lives of more than 1,500 protesters murdered by the regime’s forces in a matter of 48 hours during the 2019 uprising.
“In January 2020, a wide protest movement erupted in opposition to the IRGC shooting down Flight 752. However, as the people were readying to increase the tempo and intensity of the uprisings, the COVID pandemic began. [Note: How convenient.] This provided the regime with breathing room for a period of time. Khamenei banned the import of effective vaccines for COVID, hoping that the massive mortality would immobilize the freedom-seeking society. However, despite the heavy death toll- now exceeding 425,000, the protest movement had already begun.”
The destiny of the Iranian people is in their hands the same as it was for a new nation called America and our Revolutionary War. As for the US and the killing of our service members (and all the injured, many of them severely): Cut off the head and that includes another butcher, Ebrahim Raisi, who was “selected as the eighth President of the Iranian regime”. It can be done militarily if the ‘Perfumed Princes of the Pentagon” knew what they were doing, which they don’t IMHO or they’re believers of Hussein Obama’s creed: Thou shall not harm any Muslim.
Without the billions that’s been poured out of Iran for all the terrorist groups previously named, they would have to find new sources of funding for their constant, barbaric attacks. They might look to China but that murderous communist hell-hole is in serious financial trouble.
“We are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of Nature has placed in our power.. the battle, sir, is not to the strong alone, it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave.” — Patrick Henry
