Kamala Harris’ summer of scandals and missteps rolled on.

That’s bad news for the left.

Kamala Harris made this promise that every Democrat is going to live to regret.

A federal judge recently ruled the Obama-era executive amnesty program for illegal alien children violated the Constitution.

Federal District Court Judge Andrew Hanen ruled the Obama administration did not make the policy available for the proper amount of time for public comment, and that only Congress could change immigration law.

The Biden administration reacted by promising amnesty.

Kamala Harris met with a group of illegal aliens that snuck into America when they were children and declared that the administration’s top priority was fighting to grant them citizenship.

“The President and I, needless to say… are unequivocal that we recognize you for the Americans that you are, and that we recognize that you deserve all the rights that come with American citizenship,” Harris stated. “And so we will be tireless in fighting for a pathway to citizenship.”

Harris also revealed that the administration would adopt a two-pronged approach where the Justice Department would appeal the ruling and Homeland Security would pretend Judge Hanen never struck down the program and devise a new executive amnesty scheme.

“[O]ur administration is taking action,” Harris continued. “So, through the United States Department of Justice, we have announced our intention to appeal the decision, and that is in process. And the Department of Homeland Security has announced that it will propose a new rule concerning DACA, which is very important because that’s about the enforcement piece.”

Harris stressed that the administration would never stop fighting to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens.

“The President and I have repeatedly called on Congress to pass the bipartisan American Dream and Promise Act and the Farm Workers Protection and Modernization Act.  And we need Congress to finally create a pathway towards citizenship,” she said. “I spoke with Sen. [Dick] Durbin last night about this very topic, and we stand in solidarity on this issue – which is we will not give up in this fight.”

Harris promised to illegal aliens that entered the country as children that the administration considered them more important than American workers.

Granting amnesty to illegal aliens creates a giant magnet that will attract more illegal immigration which only serves to drive down the wages for American workers.

Joe Biden throwing open the border attracted – what some experts predict – will be 2 million illegal aliens pouring over the border in 2021.

Amnesty would create illegal immigration on steroids as now Biden would prove that if you can enter the country illegal citizenship and all its benefits are your reward.

Biden’s approval rating’s remained steady because Democrats snuck a socialist big spending agenda past the American people by falsely branding it as “infrastructure” or “COVID relief.”

But the administration ran out of runway on this front and entering a fight over amnesty for illegal aliens is the type of divisive and unpopular issue that destroys approval ratings and threatens the Democrats’ political prospects.
