RBN STAFF REPORT: Justin Walker of the New Chartist Movement in the UK, a past guest on Mark Anderson’s weekly RBN show STOP THE PRESSES!, has an intriguing take on the structure and purpose of the growing coalition of nations call BRICS, which stands for Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. Walker is basically saying that BRICS is a false front to help usher in a Central Bank Digital Currency that would likely end the cash economy and open up everyone’s financial transactions to surveillance, leading to possible revocation of citizens’ bank accounts based on their political resistance and rebellion vs “the powers that shouldn’t be.” Among other things, Mr. Walker’s article asserts that BRICS appears to oppose CBDCs as a Hegelian dialetical tactic, but the grouping actual wants a worldwide digital currency system.
