It doesn’t matter what President Trump says or does — Maxine Waters wants him impeached.
That was clear on Monday when the president slammed the KKK and white supremacists by name, but it still wasn’t good enough for the darling of the “resist” crowd.
Waters asserted that there has been a “rise” in racist thinking since President Trump was elected, but cited no evidence to back up her claim.
“There are those who thought at one time that this president would become presidential at some point. That he would be transformed — that he would transition into the presidency,” she said during an appearance on MSNBC.
“It’s never going to happen,” Waters declared. “This is a dishonorable human being who does not deserve to be President of the United States of America.
“And everyone should join with me in wanting to impeach him,” she continued.
“He does not deserve to represent us,” Water said, adding that Trump is putting Americans “in danger.”
She went on to claim that Trump is attempt to represent that “small constituency” of “haters” and “racists.”
Earlier in the day, President Trump called the racists “criminals and thugs” after violence broke out between white supremacists and socialist Antifa agitators in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday.
