The latest Twitter files shed light on the FBI’s proactive steps to censor American citizens, but let’s not forget that what we see is a fraction of what was leaked.

“If I needed something at another company, one of my first calls would be to another Obama alumni.”
— Former Staffer for Barrack Obama and start-up founder

The FBI lost a “handy tool” to Elon Musk, but their “tool belt” remains well-equipped for continually attacking American citizens through censorship, manipulation, and corrupt influence. RedState’s Jim Thompson released an excellent illustration (Jim’s commentary here) of the FBI’s dilemma:

Thompson’s illustration holds true to BigTech’s giants; however, we should all be reminded that their corrupt influence breaches beyond Twitter’s walls and into various other social media companies like Facebook, Reddit, Discord, Wikipedia, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Verizon. Before Elon released the Twitter Files, Jack Posobic tweeted this last October:

BREAKING: Prior to the 2020 election, tech companies including Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Discord, Wikipedia, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Verizon met on a monthly basis with the FBI, DHS, and other govt agencies on to coordinate censorship operations

Now, after various releases on Twitter via thread-style tweets by Matt Taibbi (threads 1, 3, and 6), Bari Weiss (threads 2 and 5), and Michael Shellenberger (thread 4) on the Twitter Files, citizen journalist went to work to shed additional light on the FBI’s involvement with private social media companies.

In the most recent Twitter Files release, Taibbi reveals (release 6, tweet 24) correspondence between now-former legal exec Stacia Cardille to recently fired FBI lawyer Jim Baker. The letter confirms ‘weekly’ meetings with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Director of National Intelligence:

24.In a letter to former Deputy General Counsel (and former top FBI lawyer) Jim Baker on Sep. 16, 2022, legal exec Stacia Cardille outlines results from her “soon to be weekly” meeting with DHS, DOJ, FBI, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence:

According to online resources, Cardille previously worked closely with members of the Democratic Party in various capacities, which included three Democrat Senators and Former President Barack Obama. Baker worked as ‘Deputy General Counsel and Vice President’ and recently made headlines after Elon Musk fired him after finding out he was vetting the Twitter Files before release. However, before Twitter, Baker served as both General Counsel and Senior Strategic Advisor for the FBI and had a small stint with CNN as a Legal Analyst, according to his public LinkedIn profile.

After analyzing the letter between Cardille and Baker, Kellyanne Richardson at DefiantAmerica notes that this letter confirms Facebook’s early involvement to assist in censoring conservatives for the Biden Administration.

The deep connections between ‘private’ tech companies and members of the Democratic Party will continue to be exposed; however, this should not shock anyone. After an online search on the topic using various search engines (including algo-heavy Google), I was flooded with headlines that reminded me of the stronghold Democrats have in BigTech. That said, many of us have had moments when reaching for an everyday object (pen, paper, paperclip, etc.) to find it does not exist anywhere in the house. That’s where Democrats currently find themselves, scouring the house looking for that missing tool on their toolbelt, only to remember it was sold to a Free-Speech-loving South African.
