How a CIA island black site is in big trouble

The island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean is a British territory. In 1966, the US and the UK signed an agreement to allow the US military to use the island. Over the years, many have accused the CIA for using the island as a black site, and just this year, a US Senate committee came to the conclusion that the CIA has, indeed, been using the island in their controversial rendition program. Now, the UK is reviewing the agreement, and it’s not looking so good for the US to continue military operations on the island. The Resident discusses.
