ST. LOUIS — American children are being deliberately dumbed down by government schools created to transform them from independent-minded Christians who love freedom into collectivists and humanists, Liberty Sentinel chief Alex Newman told the Epoch Times‘ program American Thought Leaders.In the interview, Newman describes the findings from the book Crimes of the Educators: How Utopians Are Using Government Schools to Destroy America’s Children co-written with legendary education expert Dr. Samuel Blumenfeld. The book has been endorsed by conservative leaders ranging from Congressman Ron Paul to Eagle Forum founder Phyllis Schlafly.

The interview with American Thought Leaders took place at the Phyllis Schlafly’s Eagle Council 48. At the event, Newman gave the keynote speech, titled “Rescuing Our Children — and Our Nation,” arguing that public schools cannot be reformed. He urged Americans to immediately remove their children and either homeschool or find a quality Christian school.

The crowd, top leaders ranging from Congressmen to the pro-family movement, responded with a standing ovation.
