When she was White House Press Secretary, Jen Psaki defended Joe Biden’s position supporting abortions up to birth. However, when Republican presidential candidates called out Democrats for supporting abortions up to birth last night, Psaki lied on twitter and falsely claimed that no one supports abortions up to birth.

During the debate, multiple candidates like Ron DeSantis went after Biden and Democrats for supporting unlimited abortions for any reason.

“What the Democrats are trying to do this issue is wrong to allow abortion all the way up to the moment of birth … we are better than what the Democrats are selling, we are not going to allow abortion all the way up until birth and we are going to hold them accountable for their extremism,” DeSantis said.

“The radical left has decided to continue the federal push for abortion on demand up until even the day of birth,” Tim Scott added.

Nikki Haley took it to Democrats and they are the real extremists because they support abortions on demand.

“Can’t we all agree that we should ban late-term abortions and encourage adoptions?”

But Psaki, angered at the truth, falsely claimed, “No one supports abortion up until birth.”

Ironically, Psaki herself defended her former boss’ position of abortions up to birth.

In December 2021, Psaki said Joe Biden remains “deeply committed” to abortions up to birth.

Psaki said Biden was “concerned” about it but added that he was “deeply committed” to Roe v. Wade, which allows killing babies in abortions up to birth unless states limit late-term abortions.

Psaki also noted “how much these rights are at risk” even though abortion is not a right found in the Constitution. She also said Biden wants the Women’s Health Protection Act, which passed the House in September but has been stuck in limbo in the Senate.  It would overturn every pro-life law nationwide and allows abortions up to birth in all 50 states.

Thousands of people on X, formerly Twitter, pointed out the lie and took her to task.

Townhall web editor Rebecca Downs replied, “AYFKM? You worked for the man who does!”

Another Townhall staff member, John Hasson, wrote, “46 Democrat Senators voted for it on Feb. 28, 2022.”

The Spectator contributing editor Stephen L. Miller wrote, “This is false.”

“Every single Democrat in the U.S. Senate (but one) voted for a bill that would allow abortion… any time, for any reason, UP UNTIL THE MOMENT OF BIRTH…and they wanted you to pay for it,” Center for Election Integrity J. Hogan Gidley wrote. “That IS the Democrat position.”

“Really?” Fox News contributor Guy Benson asked. “What limitations does your party support?”
