Joe Biden continues to find new ways to alienate the American people.
Biden’s latest divisive stand takes the cake.
Now Joe Biden expressed one regret that will make you roll your eyes in anger.
Private fundraisers are where Democrat politicians get in trouble.
During the 2008 election Barack Obama told big money Democrat donors that rural Americans were really racist kooks that bitterly clung to their guns and religion in the face of demographic change.
In 2016 Hillary Clinton told a crowd at a fundraiser that half of all Trump voters were irredeemable racists that belonged in the basket of deplorables.
And just recently Biden sparked panic when he told a group of donors at a New York City fundraiser that nuclear Armageddon could be right around the corner.
Biden was at it again during a fundraiser in Los Angeles.
In his comments, Biden lamented the fact that a handful of liberal newspapers – think The New York Times, Washington Post, and Los Angeles Times – lacked the ability to declare the Democrat Party’s political narrative as The Truth and have the vast majority of the population accept it as fact.
“The ability of newspapers to have much impact is de minimis,” Biden began, using the Latin term meaning “lacking significance or importance.”
Biden then complained about the internet providing a platform for dissenting voices and alternative news sources that undercut the corporate media’s ability to brainwash the public with left-wing talking points.
“They’ve been overtaken by the internet,” Biden added.
Biden whined that there was no one like former Washington Post executive editor Ben Bradlee who could, as a single voice in the media, authoritatively state that stories which benefited Democrats were true while news that made the left look bad was not worth covering.
“Look what’s happened now. Everything is changing because technology has changed,” Biden continued. “There are no editors anymore. There are no editors anymore.”
Biden put out a call for more online censorship of conservative speech and views online.
“How do people know the truth?” Biden wondered. “What do they — how do they make — make a distinction between fact and fiction? There’s so much — so much going on. And we’re in the middle of this.
“It changed the politics of the world,” Biden concluded. “And it goes all the way straight through to everything from the electronic changes.”
After the 2016 election liberals in the media and elected office began pressuring social media companies to clamp down on so-called “misinformation” and “hate speech.”
Hate speech and misinformation are defined as any point of view or news story that embarrasses Democrats or undercuts the Democrat Party’s version of events.
Democrats blamed Donald Trump’s win on Facebook and Twitter allowing Trump to freely communicate with Americans.
Social media companies responded by making changes to their algorithm to promote “authoritative” – meaning liberal media – sources so voters could have the best chance of stumbling upon pro-Democrat Party content on Facebook and YouTube.
But Biden and the Democrats want to go further with reforms to Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act to force Big Tech to impose further censorship protocols to further erase conservative speech from the internet.
