Just a quick note

Cenk Uygur is trying to play it cool, telling his followers this is not a big deal when in fact it is. Well, Cenk has been a tool of the establishment, trying to pretend he isn’t for years. His Youtube empire, the Young Turks, was started with seed money from a centrist republican years ago and Cenk has been pushing the centrist message ever since. You have to remember, when Cenk was on MSNBC he spread Clinton’s lies about Gaddafi on a daily basis, doing his level best to convince progressives to tacitly support her illegal and immoral regime change operation in Libya. And he’s done the same shit ever since.

So Cenk Uygur has always been a sellout piece of shit… now he’s just sold out more.

“The media’s “Trump Bump” is starting to get the attention of investors.

The Young Turks Network, the left-leaning, YouTube-driven political news outlet led by outspoken activist Cenk Uygur, has raised $20 million, which it plans to use to double the size of its newsroom and business operations.

The funding round is being led by newly formed growth equity fund 3L Capital, with additional backing from venture capital veterans Greycroft Partners and e.ventures, as well as Jeffrey Katzenberg’s recently launched WndrCo.

“News is red hot right now and being positioned on the progressive side of the coin has put us in a very good place,” Mr. Uygur said.” Bloomberg Aug 9

Yep. Cenk has “positioned” himself on the “progressive side of the coin” which translates to “the phony progressive side of the centrist coin” which is what Cenk is and does.

Let’s take a look at his new owners (Cenk tries to tell his idiot viewers that they bought into his “brand” because they like what he’s doing and wont change a thing. Uh, tell that to Democracy NOW)

  • 3L Capital – put together by hedge fund vulture capitalist from Netherlands, Dr. Peter Paul De Vries –
  • Greycroft Partners – vulture capitalist fund – run by Alan Patricof – “Patricof has been active in Democratic Party politics, contributing to candidates including Bill and Hillary Clinton,[16][17][18][19][20] whom he met in the Hamptonswhen they were there as guests of lobbyist and Democratic activist Liz Robbins.[21]
  • Jeffrey Katzenberg – film producer, Disney, Dreamworks Animation – “Katzenberg has also been involved in politics. With his active support of Barack Obama, he was called “one of Hollywood’s premier political kingmakers and one of the Democratic Party‘s top national fundraisers.”[2]  “Katzenberg co-hosted a fundraiser for President Obama at the home of actor George Clooney in May 2012. Katzenberg said that the event raised almost $15 million” “It was reported that Obama arrived in Los Angeles on October 7, 2012, where he joined Bill Clinton at Katzenberg’s Beverly Hills home for a private meeting with several deep-pocketed Democratic donors” “Members of the White House press corps who had traveled to California with Obama were kept in the garage of Katzenberg’s mansion and one reporter called the meeting “unusual”.[31] Katzenberg, who had previously donated $2 million to the pro-Obama PAC Priorities USA Action, donated an additional $1 million in October 2012.[32] He donated $1 million to the Super PAC Priorities USA, which supports Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential race.[33] In June 2016, the Democratic National Committee cyber attacks allege that Katzenberg donated $3 million to the Hillary Clinton campaign, though this information has not been verified.[34] In October 2016, he hosted a $100,000-per-person fundraiser at his Beverly Hills residence with President Barack Obama as the main attraction.[35]

Katzenberg’s WndrCo is a 600 million dollar slush fund designed to buy up and promote fake progressive websites and Youtube channels so they can make sure they have a better chance of getting their corrupt neoliberal candidates like Hillary Clinton “elected” in the future by normalizing them in places where Bernie Sanders supporting folks hang out. And maybe make a buck in the process. “In January 2017, reports surfaced that he had raised nearly $600 million from investors for a new venture called WndrCo, which will invest in new media and technology companies.”

If you think for one second someone like Katzenberg is interested in any way helping real progressives with real progressive ideas take over D.C. you’re a fucking idiot.

Funny thing is, in his “everything’s ok” video, Cenk tries to tell folks he’s still against money in politics. Of course he forgets to mention how much money his new owner pumped into Barack’s pockets in order to get preferential treatment for himself and his companies over the years.

Same holds true for Greycroft Partners. They pump money into the Clinton slush funds so they can get preferential treatment from government so they can turn profits on the companies they are invested in. It’s pretty simple.

How about that whole “Justice Dems” thing he has going? What do you think they think about Cenk selling out to a bunch of super rich centrist dem backers?

Cenk has one thing right. Now is the time to sell out if you have a big enough following. The neoliberal vulture capitalists know what they are doing. Buying up leading “progressive” outlets like the Young Turks is a good way to try to “educate” the audiences prior to the next election. And by “educate” I mean that in the purest since of the Lewis Powell Memo.

Keep in mind, the Young Turks backed Bernie Sanders in the primary. And Bernie won. They stole it from him. So yeah, buying up leading influence sites like the Young Turks and keeping them from promoting real progressive candidates and platforms in the future makes perfect sense for a bunch of centrist neoliberals like Cenk’s new owners, doesn’t it? It really couldn’t be more obvious.

Cenk is an opportunist piece of shit. Always has been. He’s a liar and a snake oil salesman and all he cares about is money and gaining access to real power, which he thinks he has now. I mean, he’s so sucked up to Google and YouTube, you can’t hardly make a video about the scumbag and his centrist-lite channel without YouTube pulling it for him and giving you a couple weeks off to think about your crime.

Now he’s sold out and got a butt infusion of 20 million bucks to feather his nest with and expand his fake brand of progressivism. It’s sad, but that’s what money does. And if you think for one minute he’s not going to be influenced by his new owners and what they want to hear from him, you are REALLY and idiot.

sorry. supposed to be a quick note. guess I blew that.
